While I’m away healing from a couple of lil health thingies, I just want you all to know that I MISS YOU!

This lil break was not really a planned holiday, it was more a necessity, so thankyou for allowing me to take this time to heal.

I can’t wait to see you all when we start back up again later next week.

🐾 HOW MANY KILOMETRES = TOO MANY KILOMETRES? 🐾

If I had to guess, I would say these 2 average about 40km each in one adventure.

Salt water p**p, sand in the eyes, rotting fish or birds, or weather: NOTHING WILL NOT STOP THEM.

Kira Spritely & Fynn/Nynny/Fynndeline are O B S E S S E D with each other, & that makes me happy because it makes them happy.

Kira has taken young Fynn under her wing, & she is teaching him some excellent manners with other dogs, giving his sister a break from his antics, & giving him some really good foundational behaviour expectations to follow… again making me happy!

My Fridays are brighter with these 2 on board, & their mutually enthusiastic pipe wars are always good for a hearty laff.

🐾 THE NOTORIOUS BIG D 🐾

Weighing in at a whopping 60+kg & the size of a small horse: DONI.

Otherwise known as The Giant Baby because he is the biggest sook of all, & ever so slightly socially inept.

Doni is an adopted boi, & lives with his older brother - a karen of a Chihuahua called SODI (famous for having named after him in G.West).

He also holds a special bond with all the littles here at CA, especially Tiny Alfred Neville.

This pic got an enormous response in Stories, so by popular demand it now has an honourable grid position.

Aunty Adventure incorporates a post Adventure wash for the dogs, it’s pretty darn essential really.

The only thing I can’t guarantee is that the famous bush cologne will be completely void of its pungency. 🤢

🐾 IT’S GIVING PRIMARY SCHOOL CAMP FLASHBACK 🐾

When you go on your first ever overnight camping trip with your class, & they make everyone hike all day in the mud until everyone is too tired to do anything but eat dinner & then drink bulk boiled hot chocolate with a weird milk skin on top of it & then fall into bed, only to get a third wind & stay up giggling & laughing all night with your almighty energiser torch in your school-owned mildewy tent & an air mattress with a slow leak in it.

This weekend marked 7 official years of Canine Adventuretime.

I’d like to personally tip my hat to all that we have met along the way.

I’m so grateful to all that have supported this “little engine that could” over the past 7 years.

What a wild & glorious ride it has been and I wouldn’t change a single thing, as every lesson is an opportunity, and every experience means living.

Also a special remembrance of those beautiful dogs that have moved over the rainbow over the past 7 years, including The Boss who was the whole reason and motivation for CA. He was loved by so many, and he enjoyed every one of your pats, greetings, treats & visits.
I will never forget you Dude.
I’m sure we can all agree that dogs do not stay Earthside nearly long enough.

Thankyou to every single one of you - we love you and your dogs so much.

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again: Best job in the world.

Here is one of the first photos ever taken as an official trail-running-with-dogs business, with The Boss & our number 1 ticket holder Stanlee. I know they are both adventuring hard over the bridge right now in that great beyond.
