This beautiful princess 👑
Torah presented with back pain/reaction not long after her owner purchased her a couple months ago. She now has regular scheduled treatments to ensure she is feeling her best self when out and about, and even during her spelling period 💜
We have already seen such amazing development in the short period of her owner having her, and cannot wait to see their progression from here

Improving range of motion

Got to treat this beautiful lad a week ago. The importance of an active assessment is to physically see any abnormalities in their stride and narrow down where they are having issues/discomfort.
In the top photo, Marley’s stride is short by almost 2 hoof length on his left hind leg, and the after photo once we have completed a treatment, he is tracking up a lot more comfortably and even 🥰

🙆‍♀️ The power of a stretch 🙆‍♀️
You’ll hear us myo’s encourage stretching your horse after a workout. Stretching increases a horse’s range of motion, giving them a greater advantage when performing. It also reduces the chance of injury, and when done correctly, reduces the accumulation of lactate (causes fatigue in muscle and tissue damage, also known as lactic acid).
It doesn’t take long to stretch your horse out, and they’ll thank you in the long run 🏇🏽

Had the pleasure to help tutor and supervise ACATT’s Practical Intensive week, along with supervising their assessments last week.
It was incredible to see how quickly everyone picked up new skills, and mastering them within 1 week! 👏👏

Assessment Day at ACATT Module One Myotherapy Practical Intensive.
What a day! What beautiful sessions! Every student and horse were enveloped in a bubble of interaction and communication. The silence was deafening!
Thank you to all students, tutors and horses for your focus, commitment, desire and application - it has been a brilliant week to be a part of.
I hope you all have an enjoyable, restful, contemplative weekend. :D
