We are so proud of the beautiful “Alfie”. Alfie came to us with blow dryers being a major stressor for him where he would start with barking fits to warn us of his discomfort. This would quickly turn into heightened stress where he was unable to be dried. With correct behavioural techniques from our resident behaviourist and a solid plan that is followed with every visit we can proudly say that it looks like Alfie has overcome his fear 🥰 we love a good success story.
We have a couple of appointments for Friday the 17th of Jan with our usual grooming team as well as a couple of HALF PRICE spots on Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th with our student groomers (both already experienced working within the industry).

Husky grooming is essential to maintain their thick double coat and overall health. Here are some key points:
1. Brushing: Regular brushing (2-3 times a week) will be help to prevent matting, tangling, and shedding.
2. Shedding: Huskies shed heavily, especially during shedding season (spring and Autumn ). Be prepared for regular grooming sessions.
3. Bathing: Bath your husky every 6-8 weeks, or more frequently as needed.
4. Nail trimming: Trim your husky's nails every 4-6 weeks to prevent overgrowth.
5. Ear cleaning: Clean their ears weekly to prevent infections.
6. Dental care: Brush their teeth regularly to maintain good oral health.
7. Inspect and clean their paws: Remove dirt and debris from their paws, especially after walks.
