Meet Brian 🐱

Brian is in need of his forever home. He's a loving cat who needs a safe and caring environment, either indoors or in an outdoor cat run. Brian is an active and affectionate cat who enjoys running around and cuddling once he's comfortable.

Brian has previously lived with other cats and a dog, and he's been around children aged 10-17, demonstrating his adaptability to a family setting. He's already desexed, microchipped, and up-to-date with vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments.

If you're interested in meeting Brian and think he'd be a good fit for your family, please email us at [email protected]. We kindly ask that you share a bit about your home environment and why you believe Brian would be suitable for your family.

✨Introducing Bravecto Quantum ✨

This week at Lara, we found a very unwanted guest hitching a ride on one of our patients. 🫣Paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) are a type of tick that release a toxin which causes gradual, worsening paralysis. Tick paralysis can start with voice changes, weakness, lethargy and can rapidly progress to full, fatal paralysis.

Thankfully there is a simple way to protect your pets against being in this very dangerous situation. Flea and tick prevention is essential for your pets ongoing health and available at your local veterinary practice or pet shop. There are many different options for preventatives including monthly or 3 monthly chews.

We are now lucky enough have access to a new product, Bravecto Quantum! Bravecto Quantum, offers a convenient solution as it is the first and only INJECTABLE for flea and tick prevention. This injection provides up to a full YEAR of protection against fleas and ticks, including the paralysis tick, with a single dose.

For any questions about this product, or to book your pet in for injection with one of our vets at one of our 3 clinics, please contact us on 5243 0077 or you can also book online via our website!
