Before and After Ear Cleaning in a Dog 🐶

In the first image, the ear is inflamed, with debris and crusts, in this caused by an infection. Such conditions can cause significant discomfort for the dog, including itching, redness, and irritation. Left untreated, they can lead to more severe infections, chronic ear issues, or hearing loss.

The second image shows the ear post-cleaning, revealing healthier, albeit still inflamed, tissue underneath. This dog had an ear clean and flush under anaesthetic due to the severity of the infection, allowing us to check the tympanic membrane and ear canal. Regular ear cleaning at home is essential for dogs prone to ear problems. However, cleaning should always be gentle and done with veterinary-approved products.

If your pet shows signs like head shaking, ear scratching, redness, or an odor from the ears, please get in contact with us on 52430077 so we can assist on looking after those ears for your furry friend

Such lovely feedback from Rio’s family about puppy school 🥰 he would fit in perfectly with the Elf’s 🧝

We haven’t had a puppy or done puppy school since 2010, but oh my goodness the classes we did with our old dog compared to what you offer are like night and day. We have learnt so much from you and cannot get over what we have been able to get Rio to do in just 4 short weeks.

He is now able to sit, drop, shake, look, stay and will wait at doors until we have entered and have given him the ok to come in. He is also nearly always automatically sitting at an intersection when we have to cross and is getting better and better at walking on lead.

In the past I have found dog trainers to be a little intimidating, but you are so positive and reassuring and give feedback in a really constructive manner. You have also been really fantastic with the girls and actively encouraging them to get involved.

We are definitely planning on continuing with adolescent classes, as we see so much benefit from what we are doing and hope to have you running them! - Emma 🤍

If you need to stock up or have any questions, feel free to call us at any of our three clinics on 5243 0077.

Wishing you and your furry friends a safe and happy holiday season! 🎄🎅🤶

Little Miss CJ has been a regular in the clinic over the years, and nurse Louise is also her fur Mumma 🐾

Louise noticed some early warning signs in her behaviour that just didn’t seem quite right. After some blood testing and imaging in the clinic, Cj has since been diagnosed with Evans Syndrome which can be a tough condition to treat, but early detection makes a big difference. Weakness, unusual fatigue, pale gums, and faster breathing are indeed some of the key symptoms.

With Cj now starting prompt treatment, she has a much greater chance to fight this off. Being in a familiar, caring environment like the clinic is a big plus for CJ’s recovery ❤️
