Yesterday amidst a big thunderstorm I lost my best friend. Our final trip together was down a road that was now a river and we were driving against the current as if nature was saying to me ‘you’re not ready’ ‘it’s not time’ ‘turn back’ ‘he’s too young’ but we knew in our hearts it was the right thing to do. As you drifted off to sleep the clouds parted and a beautiful rainbow appeared to guide you to another place with no pain and no suffering. Melody will be there on the other side to greet you and help you along the way. Say hi to her from me. I love you both but now you have each other. The cats of Manila from my recent trip. I was pleased to see they had much better lives than some other countries I’ve visited. The locals leave food and water out for them and they are friendly enough to pat 😻

Meet Rooke! He is a 2 year old Staffy/Bull Arab. He is looking for his forever home. He loves affection and is friendly with all humans,cats and children. He is suddenly not getting along with the other dog in his home and the owner has regrettably had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome for the safety of both dogs so somewhere with no other dogs would be most suitable.
