Hi all, hoping our amazing clients are staying safe during this snap lockdown. Veterinary care is an essential service and we are here to support you. If your animals need anything during this lockdown please contact our clinics and we will make arrangements to assist you.

If you are attending the clinic, only one person can come in with the pet, masks must be worn, and there is a QR code sign in system.

If you are unwell please do not attend any of our clinics. Phone your local clinic and arrangements will be made.

This time sees a lot of our community being tested and isolating so if you are isolating and you need some veterinary attention for your pet or a delivery of veterinary products to your house for contactless delivery, please call our clinic so we can organise something for you. .

Stay safe and well.

A cluster of cases of acute liver disease in Victorian dogs fed pet meat has recently been identified by the PetFAST system. PetFAST is a joint initiative of the AVA and the Pet Food Industry Association of Australia (PFIAA) to identify health problems potentially associated with pet food including pet meat.

Whilst this cluster of cases is being investigated as a potential pet food-associated adverse effect, no definitive causal link has been identified and this is a precautionary alert.

We advise any owners whose dogs have eaten pet meat (especially if sourced from Victoria) and have acute onset of vomiting, inappetence, excessive thirst, or jaundice to contact their veterinarian as soon as possible.
