Hello! Pleased to meet you, I'm Geoffrey 👋😺

My friends call me Geoff, so you can call me Geoff. My hobbies include curling up in a warm lap and nuzzling for smooches. I also love to have a chat - when you get home I'm always ready to tell you about my day of adventures interspersed with naps. My foster fam say I have personality plus 🥰

I'm happy to hang out with other kitty cats and humans alike - I just love making new friends! When I'm not being a social butterfly I love playing games and climbing up my kitty tower to look over my kingdom (the house) 🏰

I'd love to find a furrever family of my own. I promise I'm the best housemate ever and I'll make an excellent addition to the family. I'm desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to go 🐈

Meet Socks von Schnitzel 🐕

This little lad is ready and raring to join you on any adventure. He is a very athletic, energetic boy and has the confidence of a big dog in a small dog's body. He will jump into your lap and lick your face faster than you can say sausage.

Socks is a very well adjusted and enthusiastic fellow. He walks well on the lead, loves his food, rarely barks, plus he's lived around kids and dogs both big and small and has no problems making friends. He's crate trained, and used to sleep outside - Socks' carers have found crating him has been very beneficial as it helps him switch off - this little party animal would run around all day and night if he could.

Socks will definitely benefit from a routine and on-going training as well as interactive toys and daily walks. He chases birds (in the backyard) and is untested on cats.

Socks is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and waiting to join his forever family!

Animals and humans often embody their names - and Mr Spicy is the exception that proves the rule 🌶️❤️‍

Spicy is an affectionate 9mo youngster who enjoys curling up on your lap for cuddles and smooches. When he's not smiling up at you or lapping up some love, Spicy enjoys watching kitty tv - his favourite show is the birdy channel. He is a curious and easy going fellow who wants to make every moment together purrfect.

Spicy is a sociable young man who gets along with other cats big and small, and due to his calm nature could probably get used to a cat-friendly doggo friend.

Spicy is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

"Your dog is doing the best it can with the information you are providing."

Alot of dogs that arrive into our care come with what alot would consider less than desirable behaviours. Things like pulling on lead, not knowing any commands, uncertainty around other dogs etc.
But for alot of these dogs they've head next to no time put into them so they can learn how to behave.

Ongoing training in a dogs life is so important, and a great way to do this if you aren't confident in your abilities is with group training classes.

Our foster carers love being able to help their fosters reach new goals and start learning the basics while they get ready for their forever homes.

Jax has been spending some time going to group classes with King's K9 Dog Training. Both him and his carer get alot of benefit from these classes as they both get to learn some new skills on the day to continue at home.
Susie is an excellent trainer who is full of knowledge and has helped with tips and training since our rescue began back in 2018.

We currently have alot of high vet bills and we need your help!
In order to keep helping animals, we need to be able to pay our bills.
We've had everything thrown at us, from 2 week old kittens found on the side of the road, a cat with a huge mouth ulcer, a dog needing a CT in the nose, a dog needing knee surgery and a dog needing suspicious masses removed.

Meet Scotty,

This sweet elder fella is looking for a new home because unfortunately his owners are going into an aged care centre and cannot take him with them.
They're very upset to be leaving him so we have promised we will find him the best new home!

Scotty is a well mannered boy who knows all his basic commands. He loves human attention and is a very loyal dog.

Hes not had alot of interactions with other dogs, so a dog only home would be best as he's used to all the attention.

Scotty does have epilepsy but this is managed well with medication.

Hello everyone!

We're having a tough time at the moment with some very large vet bills, and with some animals needing ongoing medical treatments which are adding up!

It's time we need to reach out to the community to help!
If you donate $5 or more you can enter the draw to win a photoshoot with Picture Moments photography in Melbourne. The prize includes a studio photoshoot, viewing of photos and a $200 spending voucher.

Donations will go towards the following vet bills
Titan:
Titan needed a CT after he was having alot of bleeding from the nose. This was due to a fungal plaque that was in an old break in his nose. After the CT he required surgery that needed a bone drill so the fungal plaque could be removed and then cream applied. The CT and removal cost $5000 alone. With about $1500 spent on investigation and management while we waited for the surgery to happen.

Binky:
Binky recently arrived from a rural nsw pound. She ended up in the pound after being seized from her owner due to an animal hoarding situation. Binky has a luxating patella which is requiring surgery. This is estimated to cost is between $3000-4000

Blue:
Blue came to us with a large lip and mouth ulcer. He's currently on pain relief, antibiotics and steroid treatment. With future of potentially needing a biopsy, teeth clean and potentially teeth extraction. His treatment is looking to be upwards of $1000 and will be in care long term while we get this under control.

With all these expensive medical costs it's putting us at risk of not being able to help other animals, which is not what we want, especially right before the busy rescue period!
