Urgent foster carers needed!

We have Bluey and Pickles who arrived into care today. These sweet pups are 5 months old and are working breed mixes.

They are currently in temporary care but they are needing new foster carers by the end of the week. They can either go into foster care together or singularly.

Carers need to be near our vets in Geelong, lynbrook or Lilydale so these pups can get their vet work done.

Another amazing foster fail story for you all!

When this sweet girl was at the age of 7 she found her way into our rescue and also into the hearts of her now forever home.

Brittany - now named Minerva is oh so loved by her family and you can tell she is being treated like the Queen she is!

Minerva's mum said within only a few days of being her foster carer, she knew that Min was already home 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Since adopting Minerva, her family has added 3 dogs and 2 cats to their family and Minerva remains the matriarch in charge

"I don't know what her life was like before she came to me, but I feel so lucky I can give her a comfortable life with lots of love and friendship."

This young man was surrendered in NSW and is making his way down to us on transport - and he needs a foster carer ASAP! We expect he will arrive in the next couple of days.

Chaz is 2-3yo groodle who is dog and people friendly. TBC whether he is desexed and untested with cats. The people in the NSW pound have tried to keep up with his grooming but he will likely need some mane taming which WTAR can provide 🦁🦁

Back at the beginning of 2020 right before Covid Lockdowns hit us, we had a sweet Staffy mix named Nova arrive in care and to our surprise she was heavily pregnant!

Nova had a large litter of 13 pups! All of which were named after car makes 🚗🚕🚙

One of those pups was Mercedes who is now named, coincidentally after her mum Nova 🤍

Nova's mum reached out to us to let us know all about her new life! Here's what her family had to say:

"She is the most spoilt pup ever! She loves snuggles on the bed with her favourite humans and also loves jumping on the trampoline with her human siblings.
She loves her mama and follows me everywhere!
We're so blessed to have such an amazing dog in our lives, she's definitely helped me through some dark times"
