Poko and Pip its a bond like no other so when i got to work with these two again i listened and i answered in a way their owner could connect.
Its important to work with all involved as a trainer and never place the owner in a position of discomfort with training methods.
My approach is work with the behaviour present and use the training tools you have. I look forward to seeing Poko and Pips training move forward in a postive way.

Happy horses birthday! Horses are an important member of the animal-assisted services sector. The horse is a large animal and equine-assisted services participants need to find a nonverbal way of communicating with the horse in order to establish a relationship. As a fight, flight animal, horses communicate primarily through body language that enables them to respond to humans’ emotions and behaviours. As such, the horse may respond to stimuli that may go unnoticed by humans. These qualities are invaluable as a natural teaching aid since participants can identify with the horses’ instinct to seek safety and security, which can act as a metaphor that may help participants learn confidence, self-efficacy, and trust.

Hey! It’s Tuesday! What a coincidence! So, is this gorgeous cat! 😻 Beautiful Tuesday is a once in a lifetime cat, named after a once in a lifetime day!

When this 3-year-old arrived in our care, she was accompanied by 4 sweet little kittens of her own and the date? It was “Twosday” - Tuesday the 22nd of the 2nd month of the year 2022. We knew straight away that this was one special kitty! 🧡

When her babies all found homes, we thought for sure that Tuesday would be snapped up immediately, but it’s sadly been 126 days and still Tuesday is here with us, watching as other cats and kittens find their homes all around her. Could you be the one to give Tuesday the home she’s been dreaming of? 🐱

While slightly reserved at first, once she’s got you all worked out, Miss Tuesday is a chatty little thing who loves to meow away with her people. As soon as our staff and volunteers open the door to Tuesday’s room at the shelter, you’ll hear her happy chirping from her hidey hole, and then she’ll come strutting out, tail held high, looking for treats and pats.

Tuesday would make a wonderful roommate! She keeps to herself most of the day, just soaking up the sun or watching you from a nearby perch. Then at night, when it’s time to snuggle down, this affectionate little miss will wander over, her purr roaring like an engine, demanding neck rubs and butt scritches before curling up beside you for the evening. 🧡

So, if you have room in your life for a beautiful cat with a chatty personality and heart of gold, why not apply to bring Tuesday home, and you can have your very own Lady Luck beside you all year round! ✨
