Cappings or small quantities of honey do not require a full harvesting setup to be needed!

This nylon sieve is perfect for a crush and strain method or allows the beekeeper to fill it with cappings and sit on a bucket and drain for long periods.
HOW?

1: The metal ring is solid and holds the sieve open wider than a bucket so it cannot slip inside
2: The nylon is flexible enough for the lid to be placed tightly on the bucket

Utilising Cultural methods such as brood breaks within your Pest Management Plan is a great way to reduce Varroa Mites reproduction.

By using Drone frames in a queen isolation cage, you are able to boost this effort by:
- allowing the queen to continue laying in a specific area
- control the age of the eggs laid in a set timeframe
- control the type of eggs being laid aka worker/drone
- manage the removal of the capped brood before hatching

Varroa mites are drawn to drone brood.
