Visiting Bug at Murdoch following colic surgery yesterday. Our first ever colic surgery with one of our horses, although we have had a few for clients for rehab post surgery. Big thanks to our team of vets, John Williams, Paul at Perth Equine and the surgical team at Murdoch. Bug has been in excellent hands and is feeling much brighter. Thanks to Bethany who has spent nights keeping him company❤️

And that's a wrap for our 2024 foaling season. 17 babies, 17 fillies (yes, not a c**t to be seen lol), and all mums and bubs are happy and healthy. Fabulous result for us, and now we can sleep 😍

Bethany's grandies are horse mad, it flows through their veins :). With 3 riding now and only 2 ponies, it is time to add another unicorn to our family. Thanks Janine Buckless for trusting us with this truly outstanding pony, we feel very blessed.

A fabulous Christmas present for the kids, they will be beyond excited on Christmas day 😍😍😍

A shout out to our farrier and friend, Dylan Smith, who not only keeps our horses hooves in mint condition, but he helps out with Luckygray in the parade ring. We are very grateful 🩵

We never get tired of watching Luckygray's wins. He is a true Champion and we are looking forward to watching a great field run in the Listed Luckygray Stakes at Ascot tomorrow afternoon. The champ will be there to lead the field out, and to say hi.

This adorable little mini c**t will be looking for his new family. He will go a silver colour like his mumma, his new coat is coming through now. As his Mumma was a rescue, parentage is unknown. His conformation is very good, he is inquisitive, adventurous, and simply adorable.
He will be weaned this week, halter broken, float trained and well handled. If we don't find his perfect family, he always has a home with us. As they say, you can't have too many of these cuties :)

14 yr old Lily doing a great job with this 10 yr old mare, who is having her first ride back after a 3 month holiday. Mia is super sweet, very quiet and easy going. She does windsuck but holds condition well. She will suit pony club/adult riders/trail riding. She has done low eventing with a very nervous and inexperienced rider without issue. Approx 15.2 hh Fifteen hundred. They don't always come this quiet and easy. PM for details.

Lilly is 14 yrs old and is here for work experience. She wants to learn to ride in a track pad. So we pulled our Connemara out of the spelling paddock after 3 months holiday (yes the belly tells the story :) ) and both pony and Lilly did awesome together.

Point Of Luck finally found some racing heart today, what a good girl. Thanks Team, she is quirky, tricky and at times trying, but our masterful trainer Gino, never gave up on her, and she put a smile on his face today. Ridden a treat by Brandon Louis today, and thanks Shaun O'Donnell for your work with her too. #woodleighpoletti #woodleighestate #ginopolettiracing

This older Arab breaker has been through a few breakers and it hasn't worked out. He is pretty scared of the world, and everything behind him This is our first ride on him, and whilst he didn't go forward in a 'normal' manner, we will take it as a win. He could have lost his mind, but decided to work with us and trust. He is trying really hard to be a good kid.

Wowzers, that was what we call torrential rain. Never had such heavy rain for so long, it lasted all night :)

RIDER POSITION AVAILABLE Due to an injury to one of our riders (not horse related) we are looking for an experienced rider to ride our race horses and re-trainers. A current track licence is ideal, however we are happy for high level eventers and showjumpers to apply. We do a lot of arena work, so it definitely isn't all track riding. Excellent wages, must be reliable and have transport to Gidgegannup. We can be flexible on start and finish times, so long as it's during the morning. Hours can be up to 30 hours per week.
