Congrats to her current owners Gorbro and Rapley (NZ) for developing her and all their success.

We also had 𝐋𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐚 make it to the TOP 16 of Champions. We feel very honoured!

And just like that, we have completed the first round of voting for the Top 8 for the 35th Anniversary IDW People's Choice!

Our winner for Group 3 is Llandovery JR Joan 982 EX95-3E - who becomes the first cow to make it to the Top 4!

Well done also to Willow Dell Fancy 512 EX92 - we are so pleased to see her acknowledged in the Top 8.

The 'Joan' family has not missed, being great producers, have bred on to last and an added bonus- gathered some impressive show results.

The success of this family came to fruition when Llandovery Futrions Joan EX was flushed 12 years ago. Four of them have scored Excellent or above, one being the equal highest pointed Illawarra in the breed Llandovery JR Joan 982 EX95. The dam of this heifer was from this flush and is EX90 2E.

We feel this heifer will be no exception, a balanced heifer with tremendous width and capacity.

We would like to congratulate James Breen owner of ~Llandovery Blush’s Jinny ~ who recently went EX90 and also gave 15 fertile eggs in the recent flush at the ripe old age of 11 year old. She has also calved every year since her first lactation!

A TEAM EFFORT
IDW is in the books for 2023 and it takes a ‘Team’ to achieve the results we did and get the cows out looking their best.
