We are looking for a stable hand to do casual work on the weekends. A regular Saturday afternoon shift 4.30-6.30pm plus more shifts when we are away. Feeding, rugging, cleaning yards for approx 12 horses in stable blocks. Need to be experienced with horses and confident with large Warmbloods. Nice friendly environment 😊

Hi All,
We are looking for a weekend Stable Hand at Venus Equestrian & Horse Agistment in Gisborne (Riddells Creek side). Duties include feeding, rugging and cleaning night yards for approx 10 horses. Mainly dressage warmbloods so experience with, and confidence around big horses is important. Saturday and Sunday mornings approx 2 hours each, plus additional shifts are an option from time to time when we are away.

We are a small, friendly venue would be happy to build in indoor arena use, agistment or dressage lessons if that appeals.

Congratulations Deb and Wiz for winning medium tour champion at Victorian Dressage Club Championships at Werribee on Sunday - in very hot conditions! Two good scores and an awesome chair as the prize! Thanks Victorian Dressage Club for a really well run day with great judges and very friendly volunteers 😊

With all of this wet weather it sure is lovely to have a roof on the arena, a fabulous surface, and huge walk-in walk-out stables and yards so the horses can escape the mud 👍

Must have some experience working with horses. 3-4 mornings a week 8-10/11am (or earlier) flexible on which days and hours. Happy to incorporate dressage lessons or arena usage into the arrangement.
