Bindi Lee has done an amazing job of capturing the personalities and detail of these loved felines. Sesame and Chip and Polly’s owners were a couple of the owners who won our raffle for wildlife earlier this year. You can admire these two artworks in our cat consult room 🐈🐈‍⬛

We will be closed from Friday 29th of March till Monday 1st of April

Please make sure if you require any medications for your pets, it is organized by Wednesday midday this week, prior to the long week

Don’t forget chocolate, raisins and hot cross buns are toxic to your pets! If your pets get into the Easter treats, head to the nearest emergency. Our nearest emergency centres are ARH in Essendon Fields and AVC in Kensington

Leo the ginger cat is looking for his forever home. Sadly his family can no longer keep him. Leo is a very affectionate elderly man who just wants to be loved. He loves head scratches and rubbing himself up against you. If you’re interested in meeting Leo or want to become his forever family please call or pop into the clinic to chat to the lovely receptionists 🐱

What a pair these two are! Cookie rocking her pink fur and Betty with her luscious locks. Cookie and Betty are Pekingese, a less common breed known for being very loyal and affectionate. Bred to be lap dogs for Chinese royalty

Freddie getting extra cuddles from the nurses yesterday. Freddie presented to the clinic for a large swelling that appeared under his neck quickly. Dr Felicia determined the swelling was an abscess likely due to foreign body like a grass seed. Freddie had surgery to drain and flush the abscess and a drain was placed. Freddie is all healed now and back to his normal self 🥰

Hamilton Street Vet will be closed on December 25th to 26th and January 1st of the new year. If you need any medication repeats, please make sure to organize them before we close. If you have any emergencies while we are closed, our nearest emergency is ARH in Essendon or Advanced Vet Care in Kensington

We are holding a raffle to support our local wildlife carers. Our wildlife carers volunteer their time and expertise to help rehabilitate injured and sick wildlife until they can be released back into the wild

Peppa came to the clinic with a sore eye. After failing to improve with medical treatment we opted to surgically remove Peppa’s eye. Dr Chloe performed a successful surgery and Peppa is recovering well, feeling a lot better without her eye! Guinea Pigs are prone to stress and don’t always tolerate anaesthetic well. We are very happy Peppa is back home enjoying life!

Chip and Sesame would like to let you know there is a worldwide cat vaccine shortage! We are prioritizing vaccinating kittens and immunocompromised cats until we get more vaccine stock….hopefully early next year. We still encourage you to bring your cat in for his/her yearly health check 🐱 If you are unsure if your cat is eligible to be vaccinated, please call the clinic at ph: 5420 7000

Pom Pom and his support friend Luna in the clinic yesterday. Pom Pom was very brave for his castration and is recovering well today. We also had Peppa the Guinea pig in yesterday who we will feature later in the week!
