Today was a big day for my liberty TEAM! Kojacks first debut doing liberty with Kiowa and I 😍

This video shows the best and the worst of it! I am SO proud of my gorgeous ponies! Kiowa needs to learn to share the spotlight with kojack 😅 hence a bit of a slip up at the end, but that’s the risk I take working at liberty with multiple horses

Could not be more proud and I am so excited to see where these two go 😍

Always so important to tie your horse up with a quick release knot! NEVER tie your horse up with a bridle & ensure your horse is tied up tight enough that their legs can’t get over the rope 🥰

Let them be horses.

Turn them out, let them run.
Let them buck, let them leap, rather in the field than the arena, right?

Give them a herd, even a herd of two.
Let them be with other horses, what’s a life without friends?

Give them downtime, not just days off riding, but days to enjoy life.
Happy horses are trainable horses.

Take the rug off, let them feel the sun.
Let them roll in the mud, a little dirt never hurt anyone.

Escape the arena and explore, don’t stick to the well worn path.
The most beautiful places are usually found by accident.

Showing them how much you love them doesn’t have to come from buying expensive things.

You can buy every rug, all the boots, the best tack, wash them, groom them, feed them, put them in the best yard, with the best facilities and wrap them up in cotton wool, but one day you’ll realise the best thing you could possibly do...
.. is just let them be horses.

Just a courtesy message to let all my wonderful clients know that both myself and lesson horses will be taking a much deserved break over the Christmas holidays.

Lessons will pause around mid December and will resume to normality in mid January!

Stay safe over the silly season and most of all, cherish your loved ones both human and fur babies ❤️

This is powerful stuff! Always ask the question, when you are with your horses, who are you when no ones looking?

Personally, I am more passionate about my horses when no one is around because I just get lost in the moment with my 4-legged fur babies ❤️

Another proud post coming up!

This one is about my youngest student Piper who just so happens to be one of my closest friends daughter!

Piper is 7 years old and has shown us all how crazy horse mad she is! Her mum used to bring her out to my horses all the time that she decided to buy Piper her very first horse 🥰

In the last year, I have watched piper go from being lead off her horse to now cantering EVERYWHERE! Her poor horse never gets a break anymore 🤣

To prove how dedicated miss Piper is, she just competed in the finals barrel racing high points series at the Gladstone Horse Performance Club and took out the following for the year:
1st place (buckle winner) of leadline/assisted barrels
1st place overall western bend
2nd place overall cloverleaf

Doesn’t her face just say it all 😍 super proud of you pipey! Can’t wait to see what next year brings you!

I just want to put up a huge encouragement post to a long time client of mine Sarah Rogers!

On the weekend, she had her first decent buster off a horse. She came off quite lucky without any serious injuries BUT all horse riders know how scary being thrown can really be!

After a few days rest, Sarah showed true bravery and passion when she got herself back in the saddle!

I am so proud of you Sarah for getting back on and showing us all what a champion you really are!

Now you’ve had a taste of the dirt, and still pushed through, this shows the love you have of such a dangerous sport. 🥰

Every time we put ourselves on a horses back, we entrust our lives in them. Sometimes bad things can happen but as long as we push through and support each other, we can all achieve greatness! ❤️
