Your home or Ours I live with my wife. I am an honest, reliable, long-term local resident.

I have recently taken early retirement, so I have all the time in the world to give your pet the best care and attention whilst in my care. Our two adult children no longer live at home, so it is just the two of us. During your pets stay they will be treated as part of our family and I will follow your care plan. We love having indoor pets but they must be house trained. As part of the sitting fee

, daily walking of your dog/s is included in the price. Owner to provide pet food to ensure there is consistency in diet. I will also look after your pet at your home if you prefer and will include watering gardens, pot plants, collecting mail, etc if required. Depending on the level of work you are seeking we can determine a price based on time requirements. I have a current criminal history check certificate completed on 11 February 2021. How long are the dog walks or how many do you offer per day etc? Dogs who are in my care are walked and will normally get a minimum of 3km or this could change depending on the owners request i.e requirements/ health of the dog. How much time you can usually spend with guest pets on a daily basis? I have taken early retirement so I will have all the time to dedicate to your pet. I am home all day generally. Will you be home with the dogs all the time? Yes

What is your home like? We have a 3 bedroom low set home set on a 1090 square meter block. So plenty of room for your dog to run around. Where are the guest pets allowed to sleep? The pets are allowed to sleep inside as one of the requirements of them staying at our house is they are house trained. If you have a backyard, what is it like? Is it fully fenced? Our backyard is a fully fenced 1090 square meter block with plenty of open space for them to run around and explore. Are your gates safe and secured? We have secure gates but your dog will not be left unsupervised in our backyard as we have a relaxing outdoor area where we sit with our birds of a day. What services do you offer and what’s included in them? I will follow the clients request in feeding and spending time with their pets. I will also offer walking their dog and doing basic pot plant watering and collecting mail and putting bins out if required. What is the minimum amount of time you will stay with the pets during dog walks, home visits for your rate?

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Changes for Bookings commencing 2025

J’s Pets would like to thank everyone for your continued support and trusting us to give your pets the best in-home holiday while you enjoy your family break.

New rates and conditions for 2025 listed below. Please contact us if you have any questions.

1.We will not be providing house sitting or home visits due to the amount of bookings we are getting for in-house stays.

2.Please remember we do not accept dogs under 12 months of age and all dogs need to be house trained as they stay with us inside our home and generally are only outside for toileting or when we are working outside or playing with them in the yard and of course during their walks.

3.Pets are to be vaccinated and cats and dogs must be registered with the relevant Council.

Bookings and Payment:
To avoid disappointment please book early and be certain of your dates.
We will require a non-refundable first night/day deposit for all bookings (see rates below). Balance of stay fees (excluding deposit) to be paid 24 hours prior to your pet’s stay.
To remove cash-handling we ask all payments to be via direct deposit into our account or via Paypal. Please include pet name and stay dates in payment description. We will provide an invoice at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations will incur the non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking. If you do need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible.

Rates:

Day Rates (without Overnight Stay) 12 hours from time of drop off
1 Dog or Cat $25 per day (Extra hours $5 per hour)
2 Dogs or Cats from same Family $35 per day (Extra hours $5 per hour)
Short Term Day+Overnight Stay Rates (Less than 3 nights) 24 hours is ‘day+night’ from time of drop-off
1 Dog or Cat $35 per day+night (Extra hours $5 per hour)
2 Dogs or Cats from same Family $45 per day+night (Extra hours $5 per hour)
Long Term Day+Overnight Stay Rates (3 nights or more) 24 hours is ‘day+night’ from time of drop-off
1 Dog or Cat $30 per day+night (Extra hours $5 per hour)
2 Dogs or Cats from same Family $40 per day+night (Extra hours $5 per hour)

Food and Treats:
Our rates exclude food. To ensure that your pet’s diet is consistent, pet owners are to provide their pets food and any treats for the duration of their stay. We have food and water bowls for cats and dogs, so unless your pet has specific preference for feeding containers (ie. go slow bowls, etc) you do not need to bring these items for their stay.

Bedding:
We have dog bedding. Unless your dog has specific bedding attachments/needs (ie. night crate, etc) you will not need to send bedding.
