Anzac day means so much to so many people.
Today we give thanks to those that have served our country to keep it safe and free.
We remember the sacrifice our service men and women in many different conflicts and campaigns have made to ensure we have the privileges we have today.
Here at Foxboro as we work so closely with animals we like to also take a moment to reflect on the animals that assisted during the wars.
They carried food, water, ammunition and medical supplies to the front line. Carried messages, offered protection and warnings, hunted rats in trenches and most importantly offered companionship to all those so far from home and enduring the horrors of war.
So today we pay tribute to the humans and animals who served our nation and we reflect on the values of comradeship, sacrifice, and resilience that continue to define our national character.
