I am very pleased to announce that here at Kirahlee Westies we are expecting 🩷
Tams Winnie is confirmed 24 days pregnant to Devnik Robert the Bruce ( AKA Brucee ☺️ )
Puppies are due to be born on the 15th January. Available to approved families, fully vet checked vaccinated and microchipped and with pedigree papers. I am happy to take expressions of interest now

Busy times here at Kirahlee, I would like to announce our final litter of westies for 2024
Winnie has blessed us with 3 gorgeous healthy little girls 💖

Skyes litter of 6 are 15 days old today, they are growing so fast, all so strong and healthy, Skye is a wonderful first time mum ☺️

We still have the pleasure of having Kirahlee Fergus with us also until he ventures off with his wonderful new family on the 26th

All of you sneering at reputable breeders take note: if you walk through your local shelter, you will rarely find a single well bred, reputably bred dog in their kennels.

You will find pit bulls and poorly bred labradors and chihuahuas and toy breeds with goggly eyes and crooked legs, but you shouldn't find one from a reputable breeder, who's parents have been health tested, temperament and conformation and breed studied, preventative measures taken against known possible lifelong injury and infection.

Why won't you find one of our dogs there? Because our puppies are microchipped, they are registered and sold with an Agreement that states if the owner must rehome then the dog comes back to the place it was born.

When the well bred dogs go extinct, you will wonder why.

Ending a stressful week on a very positive note,

I would like to announce the safe arrival of Skye and Bruce’s first litter, 6 gorgeous healthy new babies, mum and puppies all doing very well 💖💖💖

This week has been one of the most stressful times I have faced in my life and it all started on Tuesday around lunchtime …..

I heard the dogs barking and thought something doesn’t sound right, and Shain thought the same thing as he went to check to discover that Bruce, Bella and Winnie were attacking a huge tiger snake in our backyard 😱😱

Everything happened so quickly, and I acted fast, 3 dogs and 2 puppies into the car and rushed straight to vet

On the way in Bella started vomiting so I knew she was in trouble, Bruce also had a bite on his lip. Bella was taken straight in and administered anti venom ( she had 2 vials) Bruce, Winnie and the pups were kept in for observation and came home later that afternoon.

I would like to thank Gambier vets for their expertise and commitment, because of them I got to bring my beautiful little Bella home last night and am so so grateful we were home when it happened and all that we’re involved acted so quickly 💖

We are now undergoing some serious snake proofing to our dogs living areas and back yard .

An update on Bella’s 2 gorgeous puppies ( Fergus and Lilli )
4 weeks and 2 days old and just completely adorable, loving their solid feeds twice a day and now starting to play and develop their individual personalities 💖💖💖
