Just a reminder that entries for the upcoming Dorrigo and District KC champ shows on 22nd and 23rd February 2025 are now open on Showmanager and also our raffle has 90 tickets left available with the chance of winning a Top quality Yamaha Generator and 10 other prizes with a total value of of over $3300 worth of prizes.

Entries are now open on ShowManager for Dorrigo & District Kennel Club Inc. championship shows on 22nd and 23rd February 2025 and our raffle for a fantastic quality generator and 10 other prizes with a total prize value in excess of $3300.00 is still available on ShowManager or through our FB page only 100 tickets left. As you can see we have kept our entry fees down and are still giving a discount for Neuters and Babies despite all other costs going up.

Its a sad day that we no longer have the best Dogs NSW Northern Region Rep (Rosemary Privett) the area has had for quite some time to represent and support our region at the Dogs NSW Board meetings. Her input and absolute concern for all members and exhibitors in Dogs Northern Region whether it be Inland or Coastal, dog sports or confirmation will be sorely missed. Rosemary was NEVER in the position for personal gain, her only agenda was for better representation for all members in the region. Her concern and input was not taken lightly as she contacted all clubs at various times to ensure all was well and attempted to attend as many shows in Dogs Northern Region both Coastal and Inland as was possible. I wish Rosemary all the best and I am grateful to be able to call her a friend.

The club has an Oztrail 2.4 Deluxe Compact Gazebo complete with one solid side wall for sale $110 Frame is as new, canopy a little faded and bag in good condition. Solid wall is as new used once. Can deliver to Clarence Shows any day or Kempsey show on the Friday. ( SOLD)

I was a bit slack in my last post and did not mention Jim Cook who was one of the very few who helped our intrepid President Alan Stunt ( who is such a hard worker)pack up all the rings after our shows. THANK YOU JIM.

Thank you to all the exhibitors at our shows for making the shows so successful. The weather was kind to us except for the humidity. A huge thank you to our stewards Royce Holtkamp. Angela Tulk, Karen Glanford and a new steward who stepped up to help Kim Burey, without all of you the show cannot go on and we are grateful for your assistance. Thank you to our vendors Pawsitive Dog Therapy., Ashley Craig Grooming Aust, PS Pet Treats and Hyponic Australia and a big thank you to Grafton Speedway Catering for coming forward to supply us with great food and coffee. Thank you to Geoff King Motors for giving us the use of a car for the judges.
There is some lost and found. If you left a jacket behind please message the club and if someone accidentally picked up a pair of blue frame sunglasses can you post them to the club at PO Box 6036 Coffs Harbour 2450 so they can be returned to the rightful owner.
To those exhibitors that helped set up, thank you. It would be nice to get the same assistance at the end of the show to help pack up.

Do you have suits that you no longer wear?
Perhaps some crates, pens, trolleys or show leads collecting dust?

We invite all our dog show exhibitors to sell their second hand goods at our show.

Place your items on display marked with their prices in your own gazebos.
Rummage with respect and be open for bargaining. If you do not wish to bargain please place a sign amongst your items to avoid confusion.

People are welcome to sell their things with no responsibility held by our groovy club.

Entries close 11.00 pm Wednesday 21st and are available on Show Manager Plenty of Challenge certificates still up for grabs in Terrier ( Jack Russell, Fox Terrier) and Working Dogs ( Australian Shepherds, German Shepherd Dog and LSC) and Non Sporting ( Boston Terriers, Great Danes and Lhasa Apso) as well as all other groups. Best of Breed trophies and also Class in Group Trophies available.
