We do mat training around the house while I'm doing jobs. Grace decided the folded doona was a mat. 🤣

A bit of training in the shed as it was getting dark and a bit wet on the grass. I'm so proud of all these dogs staying so close to each other, followed by a recall. They are so lucky to have such great owners.

We do a mixture of obedience, bonding games and agility.

Next Puppy class starting soon, Wednesdays at 5pm.
Small classes to allow for lots of learning time and controlled social time.
Puppy class will run for 4 weeks in an environment that only vaccinated puppies have been.
It is highly recommended that you socialise your pup in safe environments with minimal risk of your puppy catching diseases as young as possible. There are more dog behaviour problems from lack of socialisation at an early age than there are dogs getting sick from disease.
It is highly recommended that you don't take your puppy to high risk places until they are fully vaccinated.
We will cover general puppy behaviour problems, basic manners, obedience and have play sessions.
Your puppy can attend these classes once they've had their 1st vaccination plus 10 days.

There are also other classes available (depending on current demand) if your puppy has had 2 vaccinations including C5 plus 10 days.

Edit. Good news. Charli is at home recovering.

A 5 1/2 month old female Rottie from our Tuesday group is at the vet hospital after the being diagnosed with Open Pyometra (I think I got that right) this morning.
Her alert owners noticed that she didn't want to eat this morning and was lethargic. This was very unusual as Charli is a very bouncey puppy. It was strange as she was running around happy last night. She also had discharge.
I've never heard of this before. Apparenly it can be very dangerous for a dog if not treated early. Charli is being operated on tomorrow after being on a drip overnight.
Sending best wishes for Charli and her owners and wishing a speedy recovery.

What a good girl not helping herself to those treats while she's waiting for me to start her groom. I didn't ask her to leave the treats either. Grace has been trained not to help yourself to food unless she has permission. All training using possitive reinforcement.

This group of dogs and a baby Chichuahua would you love you to join our Thursday 4:15pm training class.
Limited numbers.
We do obedience training, fun training games, social time and agility sometimes.
This class would be suitable for small dogs or big shy gentle dogs that like to play with other dogs.
Other classes are also available if it sounds like your dog might not be suited to this class.
