💙 SEEKING THAT SPECIAL FUREVER HOME 💙

We're excited to announce our first Standard since 2023 looking for his new family to share their home.

💙 Meet Onnie, a 2-year, 4-month-old desexed male from a registered breeder. Onnie is in need of the right type of home and a committed family to mold him for a successful and happy life ahead. As you'd expect for his age, he has energy. Sadly his current environment with a busy young family lacks the time and attention needed to address his needs and guide him in the right direction.

💙 He's very loving, not destructive, and mainly spends his time outside wondering what the neighbor's dogs are doing. He does have a young Labrador as a housemate, along with two cats that peak his curiosity. Unfortunately, he hasn't had the opportunity for regular walks and outings, nor does he understand the etiquette when meeting other dogs. These are all achievable with proper input.

💙 Onnie is incredibly loyal and good-natured. While he's used to children around 10-12 years old, he might be a bit rambunctious and hefty (approx 20-22kgs) for younger kids. He's patient, loves being professionally groomed, and enjoys outings to the river or beach.

💙 He needs someone with a strong personality who has the time and love to set him on a better path. Someone who is at home most of the day. He is not a 'set & forget' dog. Onnie needs your commitment to training, adventures and activities to keep his adolescent mind stimulated, as well as understanding and allowing him a safe, quiet place to retreat when he may be overwhelmed.

✅ If, after reading the above, you believe your home and lifestyle would fit Onnie's needs, and you can commit to opening your heart to another schnauzer for 10+ years, we're very keen to hear from you.

We have now been informed by the primary microchip company that they are not able to do this as they first advised us in an email last week.

At this time all of your digital data you provided will be held by SPARQ securely until we have an outcome.

Unfortunately everyone has to wait for the outcome of the sale of the company 😞 including rescue groups.

You may have heard that Home Safe microchips have vanished.
They have gone into receivership.

At this time - there is no way to retrieve details therefore if your animal is registered and they are lost or stolen, there is no one to help you.
(Logins for shelters, vets and councils have been disabled)

The phone number is disconnected and emails are bouncing back as undelivered.

We are taking a necessary step to help anyone with pets registered to them to assist you to obtain registration with an alternative company.

This will ensure that your pet is safe and the microchip will be searchable to vets and councils.

The following form is a very quick one to help you.

We may need to make changes on the fly but we encourage you to check your pet’s microchip urgently.

This holiday season, we need your help to give a little puppy named Matzo Ball the chance at life he so desperately deserves. 🐾

Matzo Ball’s journey began tragically at just 2 weeks old. He was being sold by teenagers outside a shopping center when a kind-hearted Samaritan stepped in and rushed him to the vet. What they found was heartbreaking—his tiny body was covered in painful, oozing sores, his eyes barely open, weak, and struggling to breathe. It’s clear he’s already been through more than any puppy should.

Right now, Matzo Ball is fighting for his life at SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital), receiving 24/7 care to stabilize his condition. We don’t know exactly what’s wrong yet, but he’s battling a serious infection and needs urgent care. The road ahead is long, and every test, treatment, and round-the-clock care will be critical in giving him a chance.

You may wonder why we’re pouring so much into saving this one tiny pup. The answer is simple—Matzo Ball hasn’t given up, and neither will we. If he’s willing to fight, we’ll be right there beside him.

But we can’t do it alone. This year, our vet bills have reached new heights as we’ve continued saying “yes” to animals like Matzo Ball—those who have no one else to turn to. URGENTLY NEEDED, PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN

🚨🚨URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED🚨🚨

We need a foster home for daisy by tomorrow.

We’ve been looking, but no success.

Daisy is a very special dog of ours. She’s been with us since she was 14 weeks old.
She has a condition called bilateral ectopic ureter which basically means she has trouble holding her urine in.

She’s had one round of surgeries and is set to have another in the new year with the specialist vet.

Until then we need a new foster family to look after her!

She is happy outside most of the time, gets along with other dogs and kids and is ok with cats.

If she’s inside she will need to wear dog nappies until her surgery and she needs her bottom washed daily to stop any infection.

Other than that she’s a very happy girl and you will love looking after her.

we have had an emergency come through from a good Samaritan, it is a grey and white female cat found at the doorstep of Bronzewing Close in Elanora. She is with the team at AEC Varisty Lakes and are looking for the owner. As this cat may require emergency surgery to save its life.
