Pippa had her 4th session yesterday and is making great progress! (photo from last week, as I’m always forgetting to take photos!) Not only are we getting great results with regards to resolving her back issue, but today she really started to relax and enjoy her treatment. Her eyes glazed over, her breathing slowed and she was totally in the moment (even if it was only for a short time). Unfortunately, many issues (depending on the musculoskeletal dysfunction) cannot be resolved in just one session, and dogs need to trust not only the therapist but the process as well, which can take time. Big high five to her owner for her commitment to little Pippa’s wellbeing. I’m really happy with her progress! 😊🐕

I always really enjoy my time working with Sprout. He is so in tune, lives in the moment and is more than happy to tell me what he would like worked on. I cannot help but smile when he closes his eyes and is simply enjoying the moment 🐕💕

Great set of stairs to help prevent injuries from jumping in and out of the car/ute. I've tried ramps previously but found the dogs struggled and they were bulky and hard to store in the ute. These stairs are lightweight and easy to store. Highly recommend 🐕

Sweet little Pippa has been having some ongoing back issues and is being treated with myofunctional therapy and red-light therapy (her favourite!). Pippa is an absolute joy to work with and likes to show me exactly where she would like her treatment! So adorable!!! 😇

Canine Myofunctional Therapy (CMT) is a gentle form of therapy specifically designed for dogs that incorporates a combination of exercise, stretching and massage techniques to improve muscle function, treat musculoskeletal dysfunction and enhance overall well-being.

Red-light therapy is great for musculoskeletal problems such as arthritis, tendonitis, overuse injuries and muscle spasms. It reduces pain by increasing endorphin production, increases oxygenation to the cells, improves circulation and lymphatic drainage and strengthens tendons, bones, cartilage, and skin through increased collagen production. This therapy promotes quick healing, by relaxing tight muscles and releasing muscle cramps.
