This is my dogs in enrichment toy library. I have to keep 4 border collies mentally stimulated.

This morning it was grey and wet. Not the sort of day to get 5 border collies wet. I had to use enrichment toys fir and hour to mentally drain them.

I played them the same sleepy music I used for my kids 20+ years ago for nap time.
This is what happened.

DIY Dog Ice Cream!!!! 🐾

Ingredients:

1 Ripe Banana 🍌
1/2 cup Peanut Butter (be sure to check for *Xylitol/Birch Sugar as it is extremely poisonous to dogs!!!!) 🥜
1 cup Plain Natural Yogurt
1 teaspoon Honey 🍯

Instructions:

1. Heat the peanut butter up in the microwave or on a stove until it is easy to stir.

2. Mash the ripe banana in a bowl.

3. Mix in the plain yogurt.

4. Add honey to the banana and yogurt mixture.

5. Stir peanut butter into the mixture until everything is well combined.

6. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer.

7. Let it sit in the freezer for at least 6 hours to chill.

I always wash my dog’s toys after use, especially if there are treats involved. I just soak them in a bucket with soaker powder overnight then rinse thoroughly the next day and they come up like new.
If you have jingle balls from Kmart, I recommend you wash and dry immediately otherwise the bell inside goes rusty if put in soaker.

For anyone who has this style of licky mat for their dogs I saw this hack on Facebook. Beat an egg then put in the microwave for 30 seconds.
1000w power seems to to be the sweet spot, although there’s still a runny bit, but that shouldn’t be a problem for most dogs.
