I love to nap up in high places, so I would love a nice comfy cat post for my bed nearby a window, so I can watch the nature, and enjoy the sunshine as I’m an indoor Only girl, and allergic to the grass and pollens outdoors, so I’m more comfortable safely inside, and although I would prefer to be the only pet, I can tolerate the company of a friendly smaller dog or cat who is as gentle and loving as me to share our loving home.

A Very Painful Reminder
Kimble House Rescue Cats🐾 has proudly changed so many deserving lives, and against all odds, our founder never gave up on any cat, kitten, Wild or or elderly soul. Saving them from her wheelchair, with nothing more than her pension, and dragging herself through bush land for weeks, to save a feral cat nobody else cared about.
It’s been some years since flooding destroyed our Rescue, and that was followed by a series of violent burglary’s by opportunistic people who were after the medicine cabinet, and our founder wound up with 3 broken vertebrae trying to protect the Cats who were also being injured during one of the break-ins, and she would protect them with her life, no matter what.
We had no choices, with no Rescue, and nowhere else to go, and our founders health, and mobility were rapidly declining, and sadly, we closed our doors.
Some cats were adopted, some were taken in by Friends of the pound, and our founder was eventually put into temporary housing, and although her health is very slow, and frail at times, she continues to try and get the remaining Cats good homes.
For our founder, the Only thing that ever mattered, was saving these forlorn furry lives, and although devastated, she still wishes she could save many more of them.

I prefer the quiet indoor lifestyle as the only pet, with a single, gentleman, or middle aged couple with no children as I was so severely tormented by children and they really bother me now.

🐾PLEASE HELP ME 🐾
My name is Queenie, an 8yo Scottish Fold Straight Ear Breed Cat.
Around August last year, my wonderful human lady closed her loving eyes for the very last time, and I’ve been all alone in the house, just waiting for her to pamper me again.
A few days ago, a kind lady came to the door, and noticed something was wrong, and then police, and emergency services came, and a fireman carried me out to be rescued with the relatives consent.
I might’ve tried to open my own food a while back, and my jaw and mouth are so painful, and my chin moves all wrong, with a long semi- healed wound under it, so I’m grinding my teeth a lot, and the pain medication is not helping much, and I’m very cranky from my long ordeal.
Vets say I will likely need extensive X-rays, blood tests, surgery, medications, and treatment to heal my horrible pain, and a lot will need to be raised quickly to get me well again before I’m anywhere near ready for a new home.

We desperately need help with donations and good food or vouchers for petbarn or Coles and Aldi to help feed the not so adoptable and returned Cats here at Kimble House Rescue Cats🐾 Some have ilnesses that require vet prescribed foods and two Cats have long term special dietary needs that require specific foods to keep them well
Foods most needed are
Hills CD stress dry food or
Royal Cannin Urinary care wet and dry foods
Purina One Urinary care dry and wet foods
Purina One Indoor Wellness wet and dry foods
Royal Cannin Sensibles dry food
Royal Cannin wet foods
As well as the litter they use-
Cat Mate Cat Litter
Max’s Cat Litter
We also need a CARING AND RELIABLE cat sitter, or cat sitters while I’m in hospital, who are willing to actually care for them EVERY DAY for up to a week, or a couple of people who can choose morning or night care shift, as they need a clean and well fed and clean water and litter environment to stay out of the vets clinic as we now owe an incredible vet bill amount after 7 Cats became incredibly ill over the past week I was away with my dying father

Just because nobody wants these poor cats, doesn’t mean they deserve anything less than the very best care and attention I can give them, and they mean everything to me

Pharaoh was rescued during the search for Ruby yesterday and rushed to Dr Lance Hayden vet clinic suffering from several large paralysis ticks, large bite wounds about the head, abscesses from bites and ticks, and badly emaciapated from starvation
He has breathing difficulties and nausea from the ticks poison and we worked on him for an hour to remove all the ticks, cleaned out his wounds and desexed him while we were at it
Many thanks to Chris Amos for finding, and helping rescue Him
Pharaoh is recovering at Kimble House Rescue But is not out of the woods by a long shot
Any help with his recovery would be greatly appreciated 🐾

Nora’s story
Born at a police station into a wild street colony, Little Nora has taken her own time to adapt to people, but loves home life.
Allowed to be wild and free within a home environment, and with adequate enclosed outdoor areas has worked very well for all of the wild cats , and living like a colony is really enjoyable to be a part of
Nora’s is a very playful little soul and has an older wild boyfriend called Mystery who both love each other very much, and will stay together when adopted
Nora has recently started sleeping on my pillow with me, and also following me, and rubbing my legs at dinner time
Both Nora and Mystery are not too far away from being ready for adoption together, but still learning to meet new people

Teddy Bear Has Been Adopted
I’m so proud of this guy, he came to me in a critical state with 9 of his siblings, four did not survive no matter how much I tried, but Teddy Bear was certainly the strongest of all of them, and as he grew, he enjoyed training as a performing therapy cat and can do all his tricks very well and he really is good at his job.
His wonderful new family have been taking care of him as great foster parents , and he fell in love with little Tatiana and they’re inseparable So, we’re granting his wishes to have a happy life with his girlfriend and wonderful family so he can keep cuddling her, furever happy 😻😻

Teddy Bear is settling down with his loving foster parents after a very traumatic save for everyone concerned as we fell under attack from criminal behaviour once again. It was so traumatic for the Cats during the panic and
I could clearly see Stormy was in protection mode and could not go with Teddy Bear at that time and the chance for rescuers to escape was getting slim, so Teddy Bear had to go alone and crying all the way to his foster home
Teddy Bear knew his saviours were safe and caring, so exhausted, he went right to sleep after a quick look at his surroundings
He’s a bit shy through the day when he’s used to playing with his brothers and sisters, and big kitty friends
But at night time, he’s showing his true big boy confidence and Therapy Cat training as night is when we do most of our training together
His foster parents are so warm and welcoming and he knows how much they care 💕🐾

Little Sia is starting to come out of her shell and enjoy her foster Mum's loving care and beautiful home now.
She's eating like a horse, and slowly getting to know her new kitty friend Katie.
It's been tough on all the kittens being apart for the first time and Stormy is missing little Sia as much as she misses him.
I'm so happy most of the kittens are safe in the loving care of the wonderful people who've taken them in over Christmas while our critical care rescue is under attack from dangerous people who have caused harm.
Rocky and little Cleo, are starting to recover from their injuries caused during two home invasions, but I'm sure the mental scars will take much longer to heal for all of our rescue cats and kittens.

Thanks to the lovely people who have stepped up to offer emergency foster care for B.B. and Tommy Lee together with a lovely young couple and are doing well
Sia, the cheeky monkey, is safe with a lovely patient lady and slowly starting to come out of her shell
Teddy Bear has settled in straight away with his lovely couple and hoping Stormy or Shady will join them soon too

Sia, B.B., and Tommy Lee are now safe in loving temporary foster care
2 kittens and 6 adults still need safe haven so please keep sharing our plea
If you just want to see if fostering is for you, this is your chance to try just a temporary few days to a couple of weeks to see if you enjoy changing the deserving lives of kittens and cats for the better and they will appreciate and love you for keeping them safe, even for a little while

Never has there been a time when we thought danger would follow us home and put all the Cats and kittens lives at risk, but it has threatened our very lives, and we all need safety to continue our valuable work as a critical care kitten and cat rescue.
Fear and scare tactics has effected the lives who thought they were safe here and a violent home invasion has left some of us with terrible injuries, including dear little Rocky we believe was kicked or hit with something heavy and I found him severely frightened and unable to walk.
I know it’s time to beg for help and thanks to Friends of the pound we have the food we need to give to any foster carers who can help with temporary accommodation for the Cats and kittens
I have had to say no to critical kittens and a pregnant mummy to be because they are not safe here with the criminals coming back several times and I can only imagine they’re after the medication cabinets
I will continue to protect them with my life but if you can give juts one cat a temporary safe indoor place to be please let me know immediately before they come back
Every effort is being made to get away and be safe but I’m hurt and I can’t give up
To Rescue is to give safe haven
How dare they take that from the animals who just want to feel safe
I will protect them I swear

Midnight (Little Buddy) and B.B. are best buddies
Little Buddy came here so crazy wild, but settled down within a few short weeks
He’s a tiny little cat with a big personality, and he just lives for attention, cuddles, and a good chat
He loves kittens and has been a great help in raising all the kittens who come for help, and he really cares about the weakest ones to help them get stronger and teaching them all he knows. Washing, eating and drinking like a big kitty, covering up after the bathroom, playing pretend Gofer under the blankets and bite the toes, climbing the fly screens and get all the toys out of the basket, how to yell for food and demand snacks, and of course, how to train your humans.
When B.B. came to the rescue, he was so weak and malnourished after nearly drowning and needed CPR twice in one day. He was an awful mess and barely survived
After a lot of medical help and lots of round the clock care, tiny B.B. was getting stronger and Midnight was there to help him get back on his feet, keeping him warm and teaching him to eat properly so he could play with him and he would get big and strong
Today B.B. is so incredibly healthy, and has no problems at all from his terrible start to life
He’s very playful and happy, and loves to cuddle up with a good friend, eating, playing, and just hanging out with his favourite Little Buddy 🐾

🙀Ohhh Noooooooo, 🙀
Our Catbulance broke down unexpectedly and we have lost our transport vital to fetching little lives that need help or vets, and assisting other rescues with critical kittens. It’s going to be considerably tough for a while but we’ll scratch and claw our way through while we try to save and raise enough money to replace it for all the Cats and kittens

Beautiful Miss Ruby Noir
Abandoned and tortured for some time at a Mount Isa mine, Miss Ruby Noir has been the most fearful cat I've ever met. She started coming out of her shell with Tommy Tuff Guy, and loved him dearly. In fact the only time she would allow me to pat, or get close to her was with him by her side.
He was her confidence after a treturous life
When dear Tommy was killed, she went into hiding under the furniture and would never come out. I've had to feed her under the coffee table for the past year as nothing I could do would console her and she wouldn't even come out for food or water or even toilet. When I clean up after her, she just goes slinking off on her belly under the next available piece of furniture, forever in the darkness.
It's now a whole year since Tommy passed away so horribly, and as I sat on the couch thinking of him and feeling so much sorrow and anger. I turned around to see Miss Ruby Noir had come to sit by my side, ,,, she's been sitting, right there, on the couch, just staring at Tommy Tuff Guy's picture all afternoon.
It's the first time she's come out for a whole year, and I couldn't be prouder for her courage to finally try.
This is a huge step for her to take, and I believe it's a brand new beginning for her mental health.
It will take a very special, patient person to adopt this very special Persian x girl, but at least for today, she's a step closer to love 💖
