Can anyone help foster these bulldogs? Please share if you know of anyone. Needing carers asap 💜🐾😔 we already have 2 fosters here at the moment along with our own babies, otherwise we'd take some ourselves x

We have been asked to help 6 British Bulldogs of various ages with various health issues come into care Urgently - they will arrive in Brisbane on Wednesday and we need help!

These dogs all have varying health issues and at this stage we are unable to post photos of the conditions they are in - however we are needing carers who will be able to foster these furbabies while they either have surgeries or simply recover from neglect.

The rescue will be covering the vet expenses - carers are never expected to pay for this

I initially posted this three years ago and it’s been shared quite a few few times since. I’d like to think that more people are becoming aware but I’m really not so sure 😢
Sadly, we lost another doggo in ICU this week (I decided it was best to stop counting some time ago) so here it is again
PLEASE share this info with your friends and family.
Cycad toxicity is absolutely deadly to our canine friends. It’s horrendous to nurse a cycad toxicity dog, knowing that the prognosis is almost always extremely poor. Every part of the tree is severely toxic to dogs and I personally believe that they should come with huge warning labels for potential buyers. Some dogs chew/eat plants. Some don’t. Some never have but may decide to start some day. This particular plant is not worth that risk. Ingestion results in liver failure and it happens very quickly. Even under specialist Veterinary care, the mortality rate on cycad toxicity patients is very, very high. Please, please, PLEASE don’t have these in your garden if you have dogs or make sure that access is restricted entirely. Let your friends and family know and be sure to share this info with as many people as you can. This is such an avoidable tragedy…. All of the devastated owners we’ve dealt with were completely unaware of this danger.
I’m so sorry that we lost the fight little guy. You were a sweetheart 💔💔💔

We actually had a weekend off last weekend but we still spent it with animals 🤣🥰. We had a great day at Maleny Botanical Gardens & Bird World . Feeding the farm animals & getting up close with the birds..how gorgeous are the Macaws & Rocko the black Cockatoo!

As some of you know, Adrian & I also managed a short trip away ourselves last month to the beautiful Whitsundays 🌞🐠
Even when we're away, we still seem to be surrounded by animals lol 💜 we couldn't believe it when all these beautiful Cockatoo's turned up on our balcony every day..we counted 16 at 1 stage lol 🥰 & The Great Barrier Reef was an amazing experience. Will definitely be doing that again x

There have been so many reports recently from dogs becoming extremely ill or dying at Oxenford Lake recently. There are warning signs up but not enough or in the right areas. Dogs grab things so quickly & a simple lick of a puffer fish can be fatal 😔
This also goes for any of our waterways/beaches etc, always be on the lookout for fish, jellyfish or even old bait & fishing hooks etc 💜

Life has been hectic the last couple of weeks with work & family visiting from Tassie so haven't had a chance to post 💜
We had a full house the other weekend with Ruby & Minnie coming for a sleepover. I think Wi******er was in his element with more frenchies to play with 🤣 they all got on so well. So much personality packed into these lil potatoes 🥰 we definitely missed these guys after they went home to their beautiful family x
