This little man, is one of my favourite success stories, I have been grooming him for a yr and a half, he came to me 6 months old, with a very nervous (owner) mum as 2 /3 months prior he had his first puppy groom and when she went to pick him up, he was pretty much frozen with fear, as the groomer ( went on to explain) that he was a naughty dog ( pup) that needed to learn how to listen, stand and get used to getting his face held tightly) as he didn’t listen ( she went on to explain) I smacked him with my brush (😮😪😪)
So when I was asked to come groom him, I had a very scared mum and pup, he freaked out when he saw a brush, with me and his mum, and barked constantly at the drier and would frantically dodge anything coming towards his face
But he has come so far now, he asks his mum for brushes, he gets the wiggles (happy ones ) when I pull up in my trailer , he is able to get longer clips as he has minimal knots and I see him every 3 weeks, no barking, sits there like a little prince enjoying his pamper.
All it took was care time and patience 💝 💙 🐾
