“Kal” stopped by to see Dr. Luana this week at our Glen Eira branch for his 8-week health check and vaccinations.

After soaking up all the cuddles, crunching on numerous treats and attention from our nurses, he decided a quick nap on the treatment table was well deserved! 🥰🩺

✈️🐾 Flying with your pet? Here’s what you need to know.

Virgin Australia has announced new restrictions on certain dog and cat breeds.

❌ Not all breeds will be permitted to fly, while others will now require a vet’s certificate to travel.

Before booking, make sure to check the airline’s updated pet travel policy to ensure your furry friend can fly safely. Your local Greencross Vet team can help with health checks and certificates if required.

If you've ever spoken to our nurse Jemma about her cats you've probably heard about Jerome and all the mischief he gets up to. During this visit he had a repeat blood test to check an abnormally high white blood cell count. Fortunately it had returned to normal.

As pets age it is important to keep up with regular preventive care such as an annual blood test. This can identify early signs of disease.

Edward and Sophie, the two teeny sunflowers came in for their desexing at our Robina branch and completely bloomed into staff favourites 🌼 (I mean, look at them?!😍) They were rocking their floral cones like runway models! Snipped, stylish and totally spoiled with cuddles!

Last week, our team and guests came together for an unforgettable evening of networking at the stunning Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Fig Tree Pocket. It was a night filled with great conversations, delicious food, good music and relaxed vibes - all surrounded by the magic of the Koala Sanctuary after dark.

We hope that everyone is keeping safe in these scary weather conditions and power outages. Unfortunately our clinic is currently without power and we don't yet know how long this could last for.

We are still open but running on limited resources and may need to refer you to other clinics. Our phones are not working right now but we are trying to rectify this. We will keep you all updated as soon as we hear anything and we appreciate your understanding.

If your pet is in need of urgent vet attention you can take them to the nearest emergency hospitals or jump onto Webvet.
