Tips for Bathing Your Dog Like a Pro 🛁🐾

Is it bath time for your furry mate? Follow these tips to make it a smooth and easy experience:

1.Use warm water: Avoid water that’s too hot or too cold, as it can make your dog uncomfortable. Test the temperature before you start.

2.Brush before the bath: This helps remove any tangles and loose fur, making washing easier and preventing knots afterwards.

3.Protect their ears: Put small cotton balls in their ears to keep water out, but don’t forget to take them out after the bath.

4.Apply shampoo evenly: Use pet-friendly shampoo and spread it well over their body, avoiding their eyes.

5.Rinse thoroughly: Make sure no shampoo is left, as any residue can irritate their skin.

6.Dry completely: Towel dry them well, and if they’re okay with it, use a hair dryer on a low setting. Make sure they’re fully dry to avoid bad smells or skin issues.

Throughout my life, animals have played a key role, fueling my passion for working with them. Inspired by this passion, I pursued relevant studies in my home country, Colombia, where I gained knowledge in animal behaviour and care, earning a degree in animal behaviour and a diploma in dog grooming. These experiences have given me a solid understanding of business management and grooming techniques.

I’ve been a dog trainer for over 15 years and studied farming. My favourite sports are volleyball and agility, especially because I can enjoy them with Freya.
