Beautiful Bentley sitting perfectly for her weigh in 🐶

Ever wondered why we weigh your pets each vet visit?
There are a few reasons why-
🐾We monitor their weight while they are growing to make sure they are a healthy weight
🐾We also use their weight to dispense medications appropriately or for dietary recommendations
🐾We monitor for any patterns, either loss or gain

If you have any concerns about your pets weight, you can chat to our staff and we can track their weight. Our scales can be used anytime, not just for veterinary appointments. You can bring your pet in anytime for a weigh and treat with one of our nurses ❤️

Happy Easter 🐣🐰
Here’s a friendly reminder with the Easter festivities often involving chocolate treats, it’s important to keep all cocoa products safely out of reach of pets. By staying vigilant and understanding the risks, we can help keep our furry companions safe and healthy during the holiday season and beyond 🍫

Hot cross buns may be an Easter favorite for us, but did you know they can be dangerous for dogs?
Sultanas, grapes, and raisins, common ingredients in hot cross buns, can cause renal failure in dogs if ingested. Even a small taste of these treats could make your pet sick, requiring immediate veterinary attention.

We understand how tempting it can be to share treats with our furry friends, especially when they give us those puppy dog eyes. However, for the safety of your pet this Easter, it’s essential to resist the urge and keep potentially harmful foods out of their reach. Let’s prioritize their health and happiness by avoiding dangerous treats and ensuring they stay safe during the holiday season 🐰🐣

If you suspect your dog has ingested hot cross buns or any food containing grapes, raisins, or sultanas, it is important to contact your vet immediately.

With heavy hearts, we prepare to bid farewell to our Nurse and Practice manager Terri.

Since the age of 15, Terri has dedicated herself to nursing, while touching countless lives with her compassion and care.

Many of our patients have known her for most of their lives, and she shares many special friendships with our clients.

She will be dearly missed.

As Terri’s departure approaches in two weeks, we invite any clients and their furbabies who would like to say goodbye, to pop in before she moves onto her next chapter 🐾🤍
