We have Louise and her adorable Cavoodle Mimi popping by this morning who are passing through from Sydney. They are coming in to choose their fabrics for a custom order. Louise wants a bright and colourful seat so we are preparing all the colourful fabrics for her. 🌈

It’s the last day to place custom orders that will be made in March, so I’ll be on emails and by the phone today if you have any questions.

Special Request for those in the Lismore area 🐾

I received a lovely phone call from Lynne yesterday about her little Jack Russell, who struggles with travel anxiety. We’d love to see if there’s anyone in the Lismore (Dunoon) or surrounding area with one of our seats who’d be happy to let Lynne check the sizing and pop him in it to see if he’s comfortable travelling in one. Please let us know if you can help 🐾🚗

In case you missed it last week we have a new website where you can now order online. We have been trialling it for a couple of months and it is now officially up and running, if you’ve purchased a seat before you may even spot your pup!🐾 We also have some new fabrics on there too.

First 2025 Batch of Seats 🐾🚗

I don't normally post 2 days in a row, but I couldn't wait to share our first batch of orders for 2025🐾 It's even more exciting that some of these seats were ordered in fabric combinations we haven't seen before. These are just a few of the seats that will go out today to some lucky pups.

Our machines were working overtime in the lead up to Christmas, so we took a break from production longer than expected to allow for some much needed family time. The machines are back on and in full swing sewing the seats ordered over the break. I've really appreciated everyone’s patience and understanding with the slight delay and we’re excited to get these orders out soon.

Yesterday, we received a photo from Jenni showing her seat, which she’s had for nearly 5 years. She’s been adventuring around Australia full time with her cat in it, and after a quick wash it looks as good as new and is still going strong.

Stories like this highlight the importance of quality. Our seats are designed to last for years, some of the original ones, made by Helen 15 years ago, are still in use today.

We often hear from people who have previously tried cheaper alternatives made offshore and found themselves having to replace them again and again. They’ve now chosen to invest in our Australian Made seats, knowing they’re built to last and will keep their pets comfortable and safe for years to come.

We have so many furry friends hitting the road this long weekend and it’s been great hearing how much more settled pups are on their journeys. One special interaction recently truly made my days, Jane was so excited to receive her seat and kept us updated throughout Daisy's trip. This was one out of many lovely messages I received from her.

The boys & Daisy are on their way to Victoria from Sydney, they have 2 hours to go! I wanted to share some photos of Daisy in her new seat that she loves very much. She hasn’t been sick at all, and it’s a 12 hour trip, so she’s done very well. The boys have reported that she is very relaxed. Thanks again" - Jane

We’ve always operated by appointment only, but yesterday we tried something new...opening our doors for a few hours to the public. It was a wonderful success, with some adorable pups leaving with Ready to Ship seats and others picking out their favourite fabrics for custom orders. Once we replenish our Ready to Ship stock, we’ll be doing it again.🐾🚗

In the meantime you can still book an appointment to come and pop into our Gold Coast studio.

Meet Freddie one our latest Happy Customers 🐾

"Hi, I just picked my car seat up today and my boy, Freddie loves it. His always liked to be up high to look out the windows, and he has often managed to unbuckle his seat belt harness to try and get in my lap to look out the window because it's higher up. He can now look out the front window and the side windows without straining. His a very contented doggo 🐶
