Dr Caroline and Dr Ric delicately removing all of these bladder stones recently. One lucky little pup who’s Mum was very proactive having him seen before they could become a much bigger problem.

Symptoms include frequent urination, straining, blood in the urine, accidents around the home and licking around the area due to pain and discomfort.

It’s so important to have your pet checked out of you notice any of these symptoms. If left untreated, urinary tract obstruction, infection, or bladder rupture can occur.

Prompt veterinary diagnosis and treatment are necessary to manage bladder stones effectively and prevent potential life-threatening complications

For charities and organisations involved in pet rescue and rehoming, this time of year can be very difficult.
Our friends at Happy Tails Animal Rescue Inc. have several beautiful souls in foster care who would love a forever home before Christmas.

Dr Mark and our team met some of the sweethearts currently in their care today for some vetwork prior to heading into loving homes. 🩷🩵

Working in the front of house these legends spend their day educating, reassuring and providing support to pet parents.

Working behind the scenes they are anaesthetists, lab techs, triage nurses and the biggest champions for the care, comfort and safety of their patients 🥰

🦔🍼 It's Puggle Season! 🦔🍼

Get ready for an overload of cuteness as we welcome new puggles into the world. These tiny echidna babies are stealing hearts left and right! 🥰️

It's that time of the year when our echidnas need us to keep a closer eye out for them 🦔

Now that the echidna breeding season is coming to an end, females may now be carrying a little puggle in their pouch. The pouch of an echidna is very shallow and it's very easy for the baby to be dislodged from mum if she is knocked by a vehicle.
If you do find an injured echidna, please check the pouch area for signs of a baby.

Please also check the surrounding area carefully as they will often roll away from Mum on impact.
