We’re happy to report that power is back on, and we’re officially back to business as usual at AAA Pet Resort!
Our facility stood strong through the storm, with only one big tree coming down. Friday and Saturday night were the scariest, but our amazing Kelly set up camp in the King’s Villa, staying overnight to do regular checks on our fur babies. (King’s Villa tested and confirmed as great accommodation for humans as well! 😂)

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Energex and all emergency services for their incredible efforts during such a difficult time. Your hard work and dedication kept everyone safe and helped restore power as quickly as possible, we appreciate you more than words can say!

A big thank you also to our AAA family for checking in on us, offering a helping hand, and being so patient while we navigated power outages and phone line issues. Your support means everything to us!
Now, it’s back to doing what we do best, spoiling your fur babies! ❤️🐾

Weather Update – AAA Pet Resort

We hope everyone is staying safe during this weather event. Our facility remains open, and access is available via Old Coach Road.

At this stage, we are open for pick-ups and deliveries only. Doggy daycare will not be available for now, but we will review the situation and resume as soon as it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your understanding, and please travel safely if you are coming to the resort.

🚨 Weather Update – Road Closures & Power Outage 🚨

Due to severe weather overnight, access to AAA Pet Resort is currently blocked by road closures caused by flooding and fallen powerlines. While we are unable to receive visitors at this time, please rest assured that all our fur babies are safe, warm, and well cared for. ❤️

As a special treat, we’re giving all our guests a free meal upgrade with Prime100 as we clear space in our fridge for essential medications and foods.

We are still without power, so our responses may be slower than usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please stay safe, and we’ll keep you updated as the situation changes!

We are currently experiencing a power outage, but rest assured, everything is under control, and our team is making sure all our fur babies are safe and comfortable. If you’re having trouble reaching us, this is why. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as possible!

Alfred Update – We Are Open Today 💚

We wanted to provide an update on Alfred and how we are managing things at AAA Pet Resort. We are still open today, and our team is here caring for all our fur babies as always.

Depending on the aftermath, we plan to remain open on Saturday and Sunday for pick-ups and drop-offs, provided the roads are accessible. If you’re unsure about travel conditions, please check ahead before heading our way.

Rest assured, we have taken every measure to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. Their well-being is always our top priority. This is our first time tackling a cyclone but we are doing everything possible to be prepared for any challenges Alfred may bring.

🌀 Pet Owners: Stay Ready for Cyclone Alfred! 🐾

With Cyclone Alfred on the way, it’s important to get ready now to keep your fur babies safe! Here’s some tips on how you can prepare:

🏠 Create a Safe Indoor Space – Keep pets secure in an enclosed area away from windows if possible.
🥫 Stock Up on Food & Water – Have at least 7 days’ worth of supplies ready.
🐕 Keep a Lead & Carrier Handy – Quick access to these can make evacuations smoother.
🚽 Plan for Indoor Toilet Needs – Puppy pads, litter trays, or newspaper will be essential.
🚗 Check Pet-Friendly Evacuation Centres – Not all shelters accept pets, so plan ahead.
⚡ Prepare for Power Outages – Have cooling mats, battery-powered fans, and backup food options.
