PETS AND HEAT
It has been reported on a local site that a dog passed away from heat exhaustion this morning from walking around the lake around 7:30am. We may think this is a safer time to walk our pets but it was already around 30degrees at this time.

Pet funeral services are also experiencing a higher level of service demand due to animals passing from snake bites and cane toad poison. Please be aware of all of these dangers. Change your pets water regularly, keep your pets cool and please do not exercise them in these conditions. Do regular checks of your yard for harmful pests and if you're hot, your animals are too!
