🐾 Cyclone Pet Emergency Bag Checklist 🐾

Be prepared before the storm hits! Here’s everything your pet needs in an emergency:

🔹 Food & Water (5-7 days’ supply) – Pack dry or canned food (don’t forget a can opener!) and enough water for both you and your pet. Portable bowls are a must!

🔹 Collar, Leash & ID Tags – Ensure your pet is wearing a secure collar with an ID tag. A harness and sturdy leash are also essential in case of evacuation.

🔹 Medications & Medical Records – Pack at least a week’s supply of medications, flea/tick treatments, and a copy of vet records (including vaccinations) in a waterproof bag.

🔹 Pet First Aid Kit – Include bandages, antiseptic wipes, tweezers, and any other pet-specific medical supplies.

🔹 Comfort Items – A favorite blanket, toy, treats, or even a piece of your clothing can help reduce stress during the storm.

🔹 Waste Bags & Litter – Bring p**p bags for dogs and a small litter tray with litter for cats.

🔹 Crate or Carrier – A secure, well-ventilated carrier or crate is crucial for transport and safe sheltering.

🔹 Towel & Wipes – Handy for drying off or cleaning up messes.

🔹 Photo of Your Pet – In case you get separated, a recent photo can help with identification.

Most importantly keep all pets inside!

💡 Extra Tips:

✔ Check which evacuation shelters or accommodations allow pets.
✔ Practice loading your pet into a crate or car for an stress-free escape.
