Summer is here! That means hot weather, longer days and, unfortunately, peak tick season.

Here are our top tips for looking after your pet this summer:

🐾Take walks early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid hot pavement; you can check the temperature by pressing the palm of your hand against the ground.

🐾 Don't share Christmas foods such as smoked meats, raisins and currants, or cooked bones - these can be incredibly toxic to your pet.

🐾 Ensure you are regularly grooming your pet in order to check for any parasites in their fur or skin.
