Arthritis hurts - whether you have two legs or four.
The good news? We can help your dog feel better.

Some of the biggest improvements we’ve seen in arthritic dogs come from combining medication with rehabilitation. It’s a powerful partnership that helps reduce pain, improve mobility, and bring back the joy in everyday movement.

❤ Here’s our gift to you:
If our vets recommend rehab after your dog’s arthritis assessment, we’ll deduct the full $98 vet consult fee from your first rehab session!

That means your arthritis consult is completely free when you begin rehab. Yes—a free vet visit to start your dog’s journey to feeling better!

Why are we doing this? Because we’ve seen the results for ourselves and clients often tell us, “She hasn’t moved like this in years,”. That's exactly why we’re here! We love seeing dogs move more freely, and clients who are thrilled to see their dogs so happy and mobile again.

To see if rehabilitation could help your dog, simply make an appointment for an 'Arthritis Consultation' with one of our vets.

⚠️ We're Having Phone Issues at Coomera ⚠️

Our Coomera clinic is currently experiencing phone disruptions, with calls dropping in and out.

Billy recently came in with an abscess, but we weren’t sure if it was caused by a fight, an injury, or something less obvious. After putting him under anaesthetic and clipping the area, we noticed a tiny black dot just above the swelling…

It turned out to be an ingrown hair! 😱 These stubborn hairs can irritate the skin and create a small wound, allowing bacteria to enter and cause an abscess.

We carefully removed the ingrown hair and placed a drain to help the abscess heal properly.

If you spot any lumps or bumps on your pet, it’s always best to have them checked early by your vet. Catching issues sooner can help prevent bigger problems later on!

Introducing Free Scrub Day at The Vet Lounge!

Once a week (alternating between Mondays and Thursdays), our team are swapping their regular uniforms for fun, bright, and colourful scrubs. 🌈💫

With the world feeling a bit heavy right now, we want to spread some cheer and smiles for our team and for you!

So next time you visit, keep an eye out for playful prints and cheerful vibes. We hope our fun scrubs lift your spirits as much as they lift ours. 💕

A very close call for Molly! 😥
She swallowed a button battery, a tiny object that can very quickly cause severe burns to the gastrointestinal tract.

Thankfully, Molly's family acted fast and our team were able to use the endoscope to locate and remove the battery before any damage was done.

Button batteries should always be kept well out of reach. If you have household items that contain these batteries (like remotes or toys), be sure to store them safely out of reach. If you think your pet may have swallowed one, call your vet immediately!

Meet Doug, our cheeky cockatoo friend who came in with a sore toe! Doug saw Dr Kerry for an x-ray (and, of course, plenty of head scratches 🥰).

The great news? No breaks found! With some pain relief, Doug is on the road to a speedy recovery. ❤

With Nurse Rhiannon away, Ollie is suffering from a serious case of tuna withdrawal.

We miss you Rhiannon, but no one misses you more than your devoted (and dramatically underfed) sidekick. 🐟💔

Dr Nicole has been bringing expert care to our Currumbin clinic since 2012.

With a science degree in microbiology and a veterinary degree from the University of Queensland, she’s a vet with serious smarts and a gentle touch. Nicole has a real passion for feline medicine (she’s a total cat lover!) and is often called upon for tricky ear and skin cases thanks to her strong biology background.

Balancing medicine and surgery with care and dedication, Nicole treats every patient like they’re her own. We’re so lucky to have her steady hands and wealth of knowledge on our team! 🐾🩺
