Animals feel the heat like we do. So it’s important we look out for our furred, feathered and scaly friends!
🥵☀️☀️🥵☀️☀️🥵☀️☀️🥵☀️☀️🥵☀️☀️🥵

1. Make sure there are multiple shaded areas that are well ventilated, or if you can, take your pets indoors to enjoy the fans or air conditioning.

2. Provide ample water. Make sure there are multiple water bowls provided for your pets AND wildlife! Place shallow dishes throughout the yard to help our wild friends keep hydrated and cool.

3. Watch for the signs of heatstroke. Excessive panting, restlessness, lethargy, vomiting, shaking and isolation are some signs to look out for. Contact your vet immediately if you notice any of these signs.

4. Please do not walk or exercise your pets in the heat. And if you see someone doing this, please proceed to scold them….

Tre is something special 🖤 He is such a sweetheart! We hope you can find a loving home this weekend Tre! You deserve it gorgeous boy! Karma's Place Rescue has had Tre desexed, wormed, flea treated and vet checked. And as soon as vaccinations become more readily available they will cover the cost of this too. When he see’s you he will hiss, but if you ignore that and just show him love, he turns into a squishy marshmallow who loves getting his belly rubbed and chin scratched. Tre isn’t great at showing how he really feels… he’ll hiss but want pats. He puts his ears down but wants your company. He’s just a little bit confused… The more time I spend with him, the more he melts my heart. Tre has the softest coat! He is sweet and gentle. When he finds his forever people, they will need to give him time to settle in. He can live happily with other cats and dogs with a slow introduction, and has spent time in foster homes with children. Tre is our very last rescue kitten for a while - so he’s kinda famous! Come in and give Tre a chance!
