HOME STAY & TRAINING: SCHATZIE 😂
I’m like the proverbial “plumber with the leaky tap”, and am yet to commence Schatzie’s formal training! To date, as she comes from two notoriously yappy breeds, all we have been concerned about is that she learns to be quiet. ✅
As most folks have seen in previous videos, she’s like the energizer bunny so now she needs to learn some impulse control. This is day 1 of her mat training. Once we have a handle on this, jobs like sweeping and mopping are going to be so much easier 😅. I hope you enjoy watching her journey.

Exciting news for 2025... Puppy Development Day is back, starting Thursday 16 January.

Puppies are dropped off for a day of crate training, toilet training and lots of fun exploring Anthea's acreage property.

We aim to provide a balance of training & adventure for the day to give you a head start with the foundation skills!

HOME STAY & TRAINING: HACHIKO The handover is complete, and little Hachiko has returned to her owners. The Home Stay program for 2024 has now wrapped up, and we hope that you’ve enjoyed following the progress of each dog. Sam and I will now be focusing on training and hanging out with our own furry friends as we take a well-deserved break until next year 🎄

HOME STAY & TRAINING: HACHIKO Hachiko’s final day with us today. She’s been such a delight to train and I’m sure her owners are going to be super excited to have her back home. Bye Hachiko 👋

PICCOLO & SCHATZIE - tiny mountain goats 🐾 Finally.... Piccolo managed to jump over Sabar! Schatzie has been bounding & leaping over all her big dogs for ages, Piccolo's legs are twice as long, but she just couldn't time the leap right... she finally caught up with her teeny sister. 💕

HOME STAY & TRAINING: HACHIKO Three lovely magpies providing distraction for Hachiko. She does looove to chase birds so, ….. will I have enough control to stop her? 🙏🏿

HOME STAY & TRAINING: HACHIKO Impulse control is lookin good. 👍

HOME STAY & TRAINING: HACHIKO Hachiko’s owners wanted us to work on her impulse control with regard to sweeping, mopping and vacuuming ✅ What’s super cool here is that Hachiko is in a new house, on another dog’s mat, with 3 dogs that she’s never met around her. And … she still managed to succeed. Very good girl Hachiko 👏

Last Hound Walk for 2024... 🎅 What a beautiful community! It is always lovely to be able to catch up and enjoy a morning... walking, talking & enjoying a delicious juice & breakfast together with our dogs. Hound Walk will be back in January & is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

We have dedicated over 12 years to helping owners and their pets develop healthy relationships on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW. ​Our trainers all have their Certificate IV in Companian Animal Services with a focus on Dog Training and running classes. ​Combined we have trained thousands of dogs and will continue helping owners with pets.

We are focused on giving you the RIGHT advice built on years of study and experience. We will always be honest!

We recognise that every dog is unique and each owner is equally unique and we are skilled in trouble shooting and problem solving for each dog and owner unit we work with. What works for one dog may not work for another. We do not discriminate against any breeds and work with all dogs big or small. ​We are continually studying to ensure we have the latest and up to date training methods and techniques.
