Good morning everyone, although we understand that sometimes being late is no one’s fault due to traffic, roadworks or whatever the case maybe we have a 15 minute window of grace this has been more then generous for a while now. We feel however that,that time is being taken advantage of, we will now be cutting the grace period to 10minutes.

An example of this is if you and 3 others turn up between your actual appointment time and the 15 minutes we could be as much as 1 hour behind for the rest of the day.

Not not only is this unfair to clients that do turn up right on time and want their dogs out in a timely manner, it’s really unfair to expect our staff to rush to catch up to try to get your pets out in a good time frame

So moving forward a 10 minute window is now the new grace period, messages are sent out with reminders if you have booked via phone, if you have booked via messenger please ensure you set a reminder in your calendar or phones to remind you of your appointment

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE for abuse for your missed appointment, not being able to get an appointment when it suits you or the like.

We have always encouraged you to pre book appointments to avoid the disappointment of not being able to get in when you want, pre booking always ensures you get what you want,when and what day.

So with that we also would like to let you know it’s also appreciated that the given pick up time is please adhered to, we are not a doggy daycare or do we have the facilities to keep your pet for extended hours.

That’s a wrap for us this year!!! A massive THANKYOU to each and everyone for making this year amazing. We are now on holidays till the 10th of January. All calls,txts and messages will be returned after our well deserved break, have a very merry Christmas and a safe new year will lots of love Cassey,Hayes, Khlea and family

With only 11 weeks till Christmas we strongly advise pre booking your next appointment. We currently are booked up with a 1-2 week wait. We are now in the thick of our busiest time of year which runs usually from the start of September till early April. PRE BOOKING IS THE ONLY WAY TO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET A TIME AND A DAY THAT SUITS YOU

We must also keep reminding that if your 15 minutes or more late your appointment WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED, with back to back appointments for all our groomers even a few minutes late can throw the whole day out. This is unfair to others that turn up on time for their appointment. Also it puts extra pressure on our staff to rush… not only is this unfair on the pets but also on staff.

Difficult,or behaviour challenged dogs WILL be charged at a higher rate as a dog that is anxious takes a lot more care,love and time so fees will be added accordingly

Matting,knots and extra dirty pets will also be charged at a higher then standard rate releasing a pet from a matted/knotty coat takes TIME. Therefore extra fees incur

You may notice that we are not open Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, the reason being is we also have another salon at the King street vets in murwillumbah.

Finally PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE GLASS GATE!! We are very strict on this PLEASE DONT OPEN IT

Just a reminder about your appointments, upon booking a automated confirmation txt is sent out to you,from then it is up to you to either remember or to put it in your calendar. Essentially it’s up to YOU to remember YOUR appointment. We are under no obligation to remind you.

No call/no show appointments: are marked down we give you 3 chances if you fail to let us know on 3 occasions you are removed from our books and asked to find another groomer, we are not the groomers for you. Not only is this not fair on others who are waiting extended periods of time for an appointment it’s unfair on our staff.

Late arrivals: we are more then generous with allowing 15 minutes grace period however AFTER this time your appointment is IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED. We have no wriggle room with time after this as other appointments that do turn up on time are run late on again this is unfair to those who turn up on time and puts unnecessary pressure with time on our groomers.

We are experiencing very very high demand for grooming, we are currently fully booked for almost 3 weeks, PLEASE don’t be mad at us if you don’t get an appointment when your requesting PREBOOKING is the only way to guarantee a time and day that suits you best.
If you cannot make your booking please give us a call to cancel so we don’t have staff waiting on you, only to have a no show, or a big gap in their day. This is really unfair to others that could have made it and filled that much sort after appointment. A $25 no call/no show fee will now be added to your account payable with your next visit.

Also a quick reminder in season or pregnancy in your pet will be cancelled we strictly DO NOT GROOM PREGNANT OR IN SEASON DOGS it upsets the boys in the salon for days even with deep cleaning the boys are hyper sensitive to the pheromones caused by in season gals

Payment is also requested on completion of services no credit or “pay you when I get home” will be acceptable

Ticks are about please please please keep up to date, even In winter with preventative. Zeus with he fancy new haircut due to 2 ticks being found

Now I look like a bobblehead 🙈😭

While Zeuss still looks very cute shaved down, the reason he was brought in was no laughing matter; PARALYSIS TICKS! 😱

Shaving this majestic boy was the only way we could locate the two horrible paralysis ticks causing his symptoms as the clock was counting down. Thankfully, we were able to intervene quickly and after hospitalisation, Zeuss is recovering nicely, even if not impressed by his 'new look'. 💇‍♂️
