Hand crafted Knitted and crochet items for premmie, newborns and toddlers. Photographic props, hats/beanies, blankets, overpants/buntings etc on request or through website. All hats and blankets are made of natural fibres such as: wool, angora, possum fur, soya bean, cotton and are listed as such. Generally these items are unique. Fun items such as themed hats, animal hats, halos and head bands and toys may be made from acrylic, nylon or polyester to achieve the desired results.

Over the years I like to make a few poppies for ANZAC and Rememberence Day. This year I repurposed a few of my displays, added more poppies and finally this was the result.

I had to think hard about making this beautiful pattern work. It became clear that I would run out of the beautiful Sunburts (yellow) shade. Fortunately I had bought a 3 pack of hand dyed yarn from The Lucky Ewe, Oatlands, Tasmania when visiting in 2020. Duck Egg to the rescue to finish this test knit for Vera Marcu.
Such a well written pattern, suitable for a wide range of yarn colours.
