Recently Cobra was brought into the clinic because he had bad breath and more recently had only been eating soft food and developed a very swollen face 🙁
After an x-ray and consultation with Dr David, we discovered that Cobra had severe dental disease which was causing the teeth to decay along with the resorption of bone in the jaw. Dr Kaka got to work on carefully removing the teeth to relieve Cobra's pain! At the end of this post, we've popped what a normal mouth x-ray looks like for a cat and then what Cobra's looked like for comparison! Big difference 🫣
