We have four stable boxes which open up to make double sized stalls as required but particularly ideal for mares and foals. All areas of Horse Shepherd Park including the boxes have 24/7 camera recording, wifi phone monitoring access allowing for regular checks with less disruption for the horses in care.

Our facilities allow us to welcome, all horses and ponies including mares and foals, and stallions and colts for rehabilitation.

An added bonus Ballarat Equine Clinic are in attendance most Thursday's or available as required.

Our single sessions are available - with the options to utilise some of our extra services ensuring your horse receives the most benefits.

Extras available, which go perfectly with a single water treadmill session , include:

🐴 Hot wash.
🐴PEMF treatment.
🐴 Vet assessments (Pre-booked and available Thursdays only.)

County Court Judge spent time with us in September/October and has hit the race track running with a fantastic win at Bathurst early November.

Our water treadmill programs can be tailored to suit race horses at the beginning of their race prep, for a freshen up during a campaign and as part of active spelling.

Lamanitis Management for acute cases - we are here to help!

We use a mixture of strategies to help ponies and horses during the acute stage of lamintis.

By utilising box/yard rest on saw dust, fed management and the water treadmill (we often find hand walking isn't as effective as the treadmill for both improvement and comfort of the pony/horse) we have seen significant improvement.

HSP Advanced Equine active spelling - perfect for over the holiday period.

Horses receive full care , including private paddock along with 3 sessions on the Aqua Treadmill - insuring they remain in light work suitable for when they return home.

Active spelling allows Horses to have a change of scenery- beneficial to their mental well being well also ensuring they maintain a level of fitness and muscle conditioning.

Its the time of year that we see painful laminitis cases, however combined with diet changes, box rest as required, pulse treatment and importantly time getting limbs moving and blood flowing on the low impact water treadmill we are seeing great results. PM Troy for details on how we can help.
