The Fire Danger Rating for Sunday, 22nd October 2023 across the Greater Sydney Region (Central Coast LGA) and Greater Hunter Region (Lake Macquarie LGA) is Extreme with a TOTAL FIRE BAN in force. The key message for Extreme Fire Danger is to "Take action now to protect your life and property".

Wow I just realised that yesterday was the organisations birthday.
10 years ago we started going out to help native animals in the bushfires .
I want to thank everyone for the support and help with everything .
Here’s to an 10 years

Hello everyone.
Well bushfire season has well and truly started and we are preparing for a huge few months.
As most of you know we rely on donations for us to be able to do what we can for the native animals.
So with that being said I have started a list of things that we will need for this bushfire season.
Please if you can help us out you can drop things off at 26 Sherwood Drive Springfield nsw.
Here is the list:
Bird seed ( all types)
Hi vis vests ( all sizes)
Tubs with lids
Buckets
Bottles of water for humans (600mls etc)
Petrol cards
Plant hangers to put fruit etc in
Towels

If I think of anything else I will add it to the list.

Also please remember to put water out for any animals that may come in to your yard and put a stick or something in it so they can get out if they need to.

Keep an eye on this page for further updates on what we will be doing with the fires etc.

Garage sale

This Sunday, July 30 at 9 am. We will be holding a garage sale at
12 Grevillea Cresant, Berkeley Vale.
On behalf of Dolly and John Susovich.
We have a whole house of furniture and white goods and knickknacks .
There will be no prices on anything We are simply asking for a donation for Central Coast Wildlife, Search and Rescue.

It seems fitting for their daughter Wendy and I to honour our family in this way as they had a lifelong passion for animals .
So please come and join us and support your local wildlife .

Sitting here watching the Mardi Gras on the television and I had a thought ( yes I have some of those sometimes lol).

How would people feel about marching in next year’s parade.?

It’s a great way to let people know about us and the great work we all do for our beautiful wildlife And also let people know that everyone is accepted.
