Arya and I had a great weekend at the 2024 Chris Cobb Memorial Canberra Classic race in Kowen Forrest. The Canberra Sled Dog Club put on a really good well attended event. It was really nice to catch up with a lot of friends from interstate and the icing on the cake was getting an unexpected 3rd place in the canicross race.

Arya and I had a fantastic weekend at Wingello with the NSW Siberian Express All Breeds Sled Dog Club It was great to catch up with friends, their dogs and compete in the canicross event. Unfortunately, I strained my hamstring just after the start and struggled to get home. Hobbling in the morning and had to pull out of the second heat.

A beautiful morning at Sydney Olympic Park today, it was the calm before the storm (but I loved it). About 4 hours of non-stop massaging the awesome dogs of the RSPCA's 500 Club members.

Arya hasn't been on the trails for a week, our house is still in one piece (just). She's now ready to get back out there., thanks to the awesome team at Bonded Hearts

Gorgeous Ayra came in for her suture removal post desexing. Her wound has healed fabulously. This lady is so sweet! We love it when she comes into the clinic. 💕

Never ever long enough, but are you surprised at his age?
RIP Bobi.

Is there ever enough time 💔? I think not.

Last night, this sweet boy earned his wings 🕊️.

Despite outliving every dog in history, his 11,478 days on earth would never be enough, for those who loved him. When we asked Leonel what his recipe was for Bobi’s exceptionally long life, his response was swift: “Good nutrition, constant contact with nature, freedom to discover his environment, consistent veterinary care, and love. Bobi knows he’s deeply loved.”

Godspeed, Bobi…you’ve taught the world all you were mean’t to teach 🐾❤️‍🔥🌈.

At this moment, Rodney Habib and I are at Bobi’s 31st birthday party, the oldest dog in recorded history 🐾🥳. Previous verified record holders were three 27 year old dogs and one 29 year old dog, but Bobi has broken the world record 🙌🏼❣️
When we asked Leonel why he thinks Bobi has had an exceptionally long life, his response was swift: homemade fresh food (never ultra-processed “dog food”), daily walks in nature, and lots of love: The Forever Dog recipe for success. Bobi, here’s to making history ❤️

11 dogs & 11 humans enjoyed the canihike at Ourimbah State forest this morning. Not too warm, a few hills, and not a single leech. The group split down the track, some doing 7k and the rest 10k.
Thank you to all that attended, especially those that traveled from Sydney & Newcastle.
