All these adoption success stories are a testament to our dedicated team, volunteers, ambassadors, influencers, venue partners, media and community supporters, and, of course, our amazing foster carers and adopters. 🐾💖

Last weekend from Canberra to South Eveleigh—collectively GAP achieved 62 adoptions! What a special way to end a huge year for our community events. 🐶🎉

“As we drew closer to being ready to adopt, I caught up with Tash and told her all about what a great breed greyhounds would be for both of us! After hardly any convincing, we both submitted our interest to GAP.

The process was incredibly smooth and everyone we spoke to from GAP was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

So with that, a week later myself & my partner, as well as Tash & her partner, did a joint meet & greet with our prospective pups! We fell instantly in love with Frankie and immediately knew she was the one for us!

From that day forward our gorgeous pups have been best friends, from daily walks together to their first beach swims, road trips to QLD and so much more".

"Adopting a greyhound 7 weeks ago was probably one of the best decisions I have made. I was initially a little hesitant to get a dog as I live alone, and work shifts, and was worried how a dog would fit into my lifestyle. However, Darcy has settled in beautifully, he happily lazes about in the backyard when I am at work and wants to spend all his time with me when I am at home. In 2 months, he has already made my life much more enjoyable and sociable as he loves his bush walks and hanging out at the river. I highly recommend adopting a greyhound!"
