Meet Spot, our distinguished older gentleman. He carries himself with the grace and ease that only a seasoned greyhound can.

Spot has enjoyed the peace and quiet of granny flat living, making him an expert in the quieter side of life.

But don't let his age fool you! Spot is sharp and responsive. He comes eagerly when called and knows some impressive tricks, including "touch" and "paws up." He's a delight to teach and interact with.

How cute is he? And super smart, too! He knows “on your bed,” “down,” and “shake.” He actually finds training quite soothing, so an owner who enjoys engaging in training could be a paw-fect match!

Our first month with Tweety in a one bedroom apartment.

"Tweety loves cuddles on the couch, joining in when we have friends over, sleeping all day, and picnics on the rooftop. He’s made the house a home, and has been so easy to integrate into our lives. We’ve loved seeing him settle in more and more each day, and have been rewarded with his clumsy and affectionate personality coming out more each day. 🐾 Our team has wasted no time in setting the date for the first Greyhound Adoption Event of 2025! 🐾

Regional towns are special places for our community events, and first up this year, the GAP team will be bringing joy to the Central West of NSW in Lithgow with our greyhounds on Saturday, January 25th. 🗓️

Many pet ready greyhounds, will be eagerly waiting at Pets Domain, Lithgow, from 10 AM to 2 PM for their delighted new adopters to take them home. 🏡

You can support our wonderful greyhounds today by sharing this post and telling colleagues, friends and family members who may be looking for a new family member. 🐕✨

Rory is being an angel in foster and is ready for adoption. He is happily living with a female greyhound 🐕 and a male Jack Russell 🐶, which he loves to snuggle with! ❤️

Update from foster: "Very gentle soul, great with other dogs and people. Mopey, soulful brown eyes. Very obedient with commands such as 'come' and 'no'. Rory is very friendly, easy-going, and relaxed. He loves to be with you, whether it's inside the house or out in the backyard"
