Hi guys. Great news for one of you. We are hiring. Yep we are looking for our newest team member. Storeperson/ counter sales person. We pay above award wages and training. But-you must know horses and feeds. If you’re keen on dogs that’s an added bonus ! Just remember working in stock feed can be physically demanding as you will need to lift bags of feed and bales of hay throughout the day. Just a reminder to our loyal customers and new. Capricorn Stockfeeds don’t sell hardware supplies nor veggies or any other grocery products. We only sell quality stock and pet feeds at the best prices in CQ. That’s all we have done for 50 years and that’s what we will continue to do! Our staff are trained in the products we sell and are all actively involved in the horse industry both in breeding and racing. Once again thank you for your continuing support.

Wow look at that rain! And here for the next day or so! Really going to be a God-send for many farmers. Bit of an issue for hay producers though. Demand for quality lucerne is generally not influenced by drought conditions as horses need to be fed all year round, but the rain make curing the lucerne and baling impossible.
Just remember we have DRY LOADING for all your stock and pet feed requirements! And nothing is stored out in the weather!

Hi again well we have extended our already impressive range if quality dog food. In fact if i don’t have you’re dog’s food then you probably have a cat and we cater for them too! Now stocking DogPro Plus Adult Beef and Adult Dog.

Hi everyone just a update that we now have Bill’s lucerne Super Chaff back in stock and still under $50 for a massive bag. Super Chaff is long cut to assist horses digestion and absorption. We also stock fine cut Rich River lucerne chaff.

Our chaff mill is back on line and we have plenty of fresh chaffed lucerne. We are very sorry for the problem created by having the machine off line for so long but the repairs were well over due. Plenty of bulk molasses in any quantity is also available

CAT SALE !! Well cat food sale really. We've reduced our the price on our range of cat food. We have done this in response to a major hardware company trying to muscle into the pet food business. Whilst we believe that our products, Friskies and CatPro are as good if not better that what these people are selling we acknowledge that people buy on price. So for kilo for kilo our range of cat food will always be cheaper.

Well I see that the Hardware Chain is now selling dog food!! Well I'd love to say rush in and see our wide range of pipe fittings and screws BUT I can't because we only sell premium stock and pet food!!
I will say though that whilst their range of dog food starts at $45 we have 3 brands in stock below that price, all premium feeds with high fat and protein content! All up Capricorn Stockfeeds have a complete range of dog food -12 varieties in all AND we stock puppy and cat food too?
