Bill has been cutting premium chaff since 1972, nearly 52 years so he knows a thing or 3 about lucerne. Whilst his chaff is premium and guaranteed the best in CQ it is still under $50 a bag. That's right $10-15 cheaper than competitors. So that short drive more than pays off with even a 1 bag purchase! Why stop there with our full range of horse feeds and care products. Also was have 16 varieties of dog food so if we don't have food for your dog then you probably have a CAT! Watch for our Christmas specials.

Hi guys. Great news for one of you. We are hiring. Yep we are looking for our newest team member. Storeperson/ counter sales person. We pay above award wages and training. But-you must know horses and feeds. If you’re keen on dogs that’s an added bonus ! Just remember working in stock feed can be physically demanding as you will need to lift bags of feed and bales of hay throughout the day. Just a reminder to our loyal customers and new. Capricorn Stockfeeds don’t sell hardware supplies nor veggies or any other grocery products. We only sell quality stock and pet feeds at the best prices in CQ. That’s all we have done for 50 years and that’s what we will continue to do! Our staff are trained in the products we sell and are all actively involved in the horse industry both in breeding and racing. Once again thank you for your continuing support.

Wow look at that rain! And here for the next day or so! Really going to be a God-send for many farmers. Bit of an issue for hay producers though. Demand for quality lucerne is generally not influenced by drought conditions as horses need to be fed all year round, but the rain make curing the lucerne and baling impossible.
Just remember we have DRY LOADING for all your stock and pet feed requirements! And nothing is stored out in the weather!
