Happy 1st birthday to Greenlich Miracle (Gentle Cascade (UK) x Greenlich Guinevere). A true Miracle, after Guinevere losing her previous foal at only 9 months pregnant, then Guin bagging up fully and developing placentitis at 270 days pregnant with Miracle, requiring Guin to go on ovumate and antibiotics for the remainder of her pregnancy. Miracle was born strong and healthy at 325 days gestation, 3am on Christmas morning 2023. She is everything I could've hoped for from this mating. Also, happy 3rd birthday to Greenlich Stardust (pictured left of Miracle) (Clairvale Constellation x Greenlich Rebecca).

I woke up to consistent heavy rain, so I quickly booked HighView for a ride. Sugargum Richenda was so good, her first time there and with the noise of heavy rain on a tin roof to boot but she didn't put a hoof wrong. We got some one handed riding practice in too in preparation for our three phase equitation.

Equitana Day 2! I don't have enough words to describe how proud I am of this pony. Becky put her best hoof forward both days, allowing us to fly the Irish flag both figuratively and literally! A huge thankyou to Vicki and Hazel for coming all the way over from SA to run the Breed Village stall for the society. Thankyou for all your help and support. Thankyou to Dianne Collins for your help and support too (and your company in the members bar ;) ). Thankyou to Leonie for your company and support. Thankyou to Damo for holding down the fort at home and looking after the children and our many many animals. And most of all, thankyou to my wonderful father. Dad drove Becky down on his own on the Wednesday as I had to work. He went above and beyond helping Becky and myself over the two days. I don't know what I'd do without you.

The third and final round of the Barwon South West 3PE series was held today, hosted by our home club, South West Working Equitation Club. Greenlich Rebecca was an absolute superstar today. Placing 5th in dressage, 1st in style and 7th in speed which put us 3rd overall! This placed us 4th overall for the series! This was Becky's final competition, arthritis and a few other things are moving her into semi retirement, so it was bitter-sweet, but what a great way to go out! A big thankyou to the 3 clubs involved in the series and to Horseland Geelong for being the series sponsors!
