We will be back to normal hours tomorrow (from 830am). We have appointments and vets available - unfortunately our online booking system is not working - I only discovered this on Wednesday and getting it fixed at this time of year is not easy. Apparently 2026 may not be kind to us :(

Experienced Vet Nurse (Cert IV)
We are looking for an experienced vet nurse. Enthusiastic trainees will be considered if you have a good work ethic and common sense which you use on a daily basis. The position could be permanent part time (up to 38 hours a week) or casual. We are a small animal vet hospital which offers a respectful environment – both for staff and clients, we undertake best practice medicine and aim to create a team environment where staff are happy to come to work.

We are looking for a team member who willingly contributes to the team and appreciates that if everyone contributes then life is easier for the entire team, it is a fast-paced environment and new employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under stress, as veterinary hospitals can be stressful environments. You must be hard-working, have excellent attention to detail, be responsible, honest and have a sense of humour. The nursing team is made up of a number of dedicated and experienced nurses.

If you have any questions or would like to apply please contact Sarah on [email protected]. All discussions and applications will be completely confidential.

Rabbit Owners
A wild rabbit control program, which will include the Central Coast, is going to take place in early-March 2026. It will involve the release of Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus, a rabbit calicivirus. For best protection your rabbit should be up to date with his/her vaccination and should be vaccinated prior to mid-February 2026 (if not up to date).

The virus can be spread by insects (such as fleas and flies), via direct contact between rabbits and by predator faeces (cat, dog, and fox). The virus is species specific and is therefore not harmful to native animals or domestic pets.

Contact us to book in your rabbit vaccination.
