✨ UPDATES ON POLICIES AND PRICING ✨
September has seen a few changes for our Dramatic Paws fam. One being a change in policies for late cancellations and no-shows, and the other being a change in how prices are delivered and collected. The neat thing about both of these policy changes is that they have been suggested BY YOU!
Firstly is a change to how late cancellations and no-shows are handled. From September 1st, any cancellations with less than 24hrs notice, or same day no-shows, will have a 50% fee attached. Dramatic Paws is a ᵀᶦⁿʸ business, and missed appointments have a pretty significant impact on income and scheduling. This new policy is being put into place to avoid having to take deposits. Please please please message me as soon as you know you may have to miss or reschedule your appointment!
The other changes are to pricing. I thought verrrryyyy hard about whether to up my prices for the new financial year. The cost of everything has gone up, my skill levels have gone up, and so it made sense. Ultimately I decided against it. I know everyone is doing it tough at the moment, and being a community minded business, I want to make sure that my services remain accessible to my clients.
So what are the price changes about then, Mandy?!
Firstly, payments for services will need to be paid on the day of the service. If you have a friend or relative collecting your dog, please make sure that they have payment ready on collection. This helps me with my accounting end of the business, and means I can fire my collections department (it's me, in my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pyjamas at 10pm 🐢)
Secondly, from September 1st, you will have the option to tip on EFTPOS! Do you have to tip? Nope. Can you? Yep! This gives you the option to add as little or as much onto your bill as you want. If you feel like I've done a great job, and you want to add on a couple dollars, you can. If you don't want to, or you aren't able to, there will be a "no tip" option as well.
I will (awkwardly) hand you the EFTPOS machine with the tip screen active, and you can make whatever selection you want. I can't stress enough that this is NOT a mandatory tip. It is something a few of my clients have suggested I offer, and it is what I am trialing as an alternative to a price rise.
