Apologies I haven't given another update on wee little Hope. Honestly, I was very upset about the entire situation. I was told I could collect her on Friday and then I was contacted and let know that I wasn't allowed as I wasn't her owner, not going to be her owner and not a transport company picking her up for a rescue organisation..... I, of course was going to continue fighting it, like I did for her to be saved, being a registered Dog Groomer, technically I can transport doggies! We do once a fortnight! Covered by our insurance, but during this time my own very special Skye boy Arrow fell ill & my family has asked me to let it go. My boy has been diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease & his road to recovery will be a long one.... 😪😭 We saved Hope, she has a home to go to & will be collected on Monday from the pound by Rescued with Love. I just won't get to make her all pretty or say goodbye like I had hoped for... It's a great outcome for her still & I thank you for all your continued help and support. All my love Tish

Apologies I've been spamming today! Update on little 'Hope'. Rescued with Love - will be taking little Hope to prevent her from being euthanised. Rangers will be notified in the morning and I will be Fostering her until her collection at the advisement of Rescued with Love and the Rangers. I will still take her to the Vet tomorrow for a health check if Kae advises to do so. 😇 I cannot thank my dear friend Sarah Gaffikin enough for reaching out to Kae from Rescued with Love. 😍 My heart is full again. 😍

I write this through tears as I'm sure most of you will understand. Legally I am not allowed to get Vet help or Groom or do ANYTHING with little Hope. I've already groomed her out of her unimaginable state so I will cop that if I must.. Which nobody has paid for! While I struggle to keep my business alive! I MUST surrender her to the Pound. Legally. I'm so sorry to those that have tried to help. I will now call the Rangers so this poor little thing can be taken away and her owners fined for neglect & whatever else. Her owners must be in a terribly awful state if even still alive for her to be so starving, dehydrated and missing an eye with a gaping vomit worthy hole left! I lose my faith in humanity yet again! 😭😭😭😭 Please if you have donated money to Mudgee Vet - Collect it. She is being collected tomorrow morning by the local Rangers.

Tish's education Tuesday 🤓 FLEAS!! Are out in force in our area! There is NO such thing as a Grass Flea! Fleas CANNOT survive without a host. The common fleas we get off our dogs are actually called Cat Fleas! 😱 Fleas cannot live in your grass! Once they hatch they must find a host quickly or they will die. Take away the host? Fleas go bye bye! Yes! Flea eggs can lie dormant in the ground for a very long time BUT once hatched they must feed on a host or they perish quickly. The only thing that can kill flea eggs is extreme heat 🔥🔥🔥 So unless you want to set your house on fire, keep up to date with flea prevention all year long on your pet and fleas will not be a problem! If your dog presents with fleas at The Tish Touch we will administer Capstar, isolate for 30 minutes until fleas are dead. Treat the isolated area to prevent contamination in our salon & charge you a flea removal fee. Please keep up to date with your dogs flea prevention. There are many different treatments available at our local Veterinary clinics. 😁
