About Us:
The Tamworth Regional Landcare Association (TRLA) is the leading Landcare association in our region, dedicated to supporting local Landcare groups in biodiversity restoration, conservation, and sustainable land management. As the peak Landcare organization, we aim to promote education, communication, and sustainability throughout Tamworth and its surrounding areas.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Tamworth and Surrounds Local Landcare Coordinator. In this full-time position, you will work closely with TRLA and local Landcare groups to support and empower them in achieving their goals. This role involves community liaison, engagement, project coordination, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver on the target outcomes of the LP3 - NSW Landcare Program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a central contact point for TRLA and local Landcare groups.
- Stimulate community engagement and participation in Landcare initiatives.
- Provide support to groups, landholders, and volunteers in natural resource management activities.
- Coordinate volunteers and member groups effectively.
- Provide administration support to TRLA and communicate project information to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and landholders.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on activities and outcomes.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Understanding of natural resource management issues and local community dynamics.
- Ability to work with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outside office hours and travel within the Tamworth region and occasionally within NSW.
- Current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Additional Information:
